It’s to be expected. A 1911 shoots 45 acp vs most smgs which shoot 9mm. Furthermore, the pistol has no stock, is shooting a bigger round and also lighter which means the energy kicks the gun around more

I love how the bf1 has a echo sound after shooting it.

The fireballs emitted from the CoD weapons appears to be more accurate to what one would see on the range, but the sounds for battlefield have a more organic feeling to them

but at the time of the first world war (i believe, subject addressed by bf1) automatic weapons were not yet used, but bolt action weapons, (because the automatic ones were still experimental at the time) so we also have these errors in bf1, among others that I didn't mention !!

The battlefield 1 sounds are the real gun sounds i can tell. I own a lee Enfield and the sound of cycling the bolt and reloading the magazine are spot on. The magazine on a lee Enfield makes it sound as though its echoing in the detachable magazine when you run the action and load the gun. No other bolt-action sounds like that, its very distinct. Props to dice for actually recording the actual gun sounds instead of using computer generated ones like COD.

Haha bf1 was made in 2016 and it still won, not surprised really

BaleOfHay yes but battlefield isn’t supposed to have zombies,, because that’s a COD thing and dice would probably get a lot of hate for “copying”. And I don’t know WTF ur talking about with campaign nope. The war stories were great, the only one that wasn’t fun was “The Runner”. And the multiplayer game base is fine and player base are perfect. BF1 wins in every department. And it has has a thing Sledgehammer has never heard of. It’s called, historical accuracy. And yes the graphics are 👌

Batt3dD33r5 22 Don't get wrong, I love the war stories. But none of them really give time for the player to connect with the character, which is something I feel CoD does a whole lot better. Also, the MP in WW2 may not be historically accurate, but the campaign imo is a bit more realistic than war stories.

3:09 That FOV on the sawed-off shotgun is really weird. It makes it look like the barrels are sorter than they actually are. Hm.

In CoD, the pump shotgun, he started with 7 shells. Fired 4 of the 7 shells, leaving him 3. Loaded 4 back into the tube, giving him 7 again, then pumps the shotgun again, which should leave him 6,yet he still has 7!

I loved both games so much and I’m a cod fan at heart, but those times I spent at my uncles house with bf1 on the Xbox were amazing

The weapons in Battlefield 1 are weighty and impactful. They've clearly put a lot of detail into them. Note the sound design and the animations of the MG15 in Battlefield 1. It looks and sounds mechanical; you have the steady chug of the gun as it chucks out cartridges and bits of brass, and it sways and jumps around just like a real gun would. Compare it with the same weapon in COD World War 2. It sounds and acts just like any other weapon in the game and it lacks that feeling of weight and instability. That being said, you can't expect COD to ever attempt to match Battlefield when it comes to realism, because at the end of the day it's a fast-paced cover shooter and this is the style that works best for it.

Ok I love call of duty but battlefield wins over CoD WW2 Lemme explain Sound Design:CoD WW2 sounds really like they took one gunshot sound and edited it for all other guns like really listen but battlefield sounds more diverse and more like and actual gun ww2 sound like a pity little .22 rifle Weapon Recoil:Omg ww2 recoil is HORRIBLE again it's like a pity .22 rifle but battlefield looks more like it could actually be like fire the m1911 IRL of course the recoil is now died down a bit but find one from ww2 trust me .45 is powerful also in Bf it's more realistic bc he's holding it with one hand so of course the recoil is higher bc he doesn't have full control Just plain Graphics:Well look for urself bf1 looks so much better no questions asked Human Diversity: ok so in bf1 there's white AND black Ppl u can play as sure there is in ww2 but very rarely in campaign in ww2 there only 1 to 2 black ppl Finished games: Ok so ww2 was NOT anywhere near finished as with all cods these days but bf1?! You can't really compare the MG15 from COD and the MG15 from BF1, as they are two completely different weapons. The MG15 featured in battlefield is a belt fed infantry weapon, while the MG15 featured in COD is a drum fed aircraft weapon.

0:40 are we going to ignore the fact that there is a plane going by very close and yet it makes no noise.

How could COD:WW2 mess this up so badly?

Something I noticed about a lot of the COD guns is that they’re not really fun to use. There’s just no weight or feeling behind any of them.

It's an M712 Schnellfeuer, which has a select-fire capability and can be loaded with magazines. Still, I don't think any Nazi officer would have this as their handgun.

Some did, just end of war weapons like that are hard to put into the hands of every officer, much less tank operators which is one of the main weapons they wanted it used for.
