Coconut Falls Treehouse At Splash Lagoon: Was The Upgrades Worth It??

In the spring of 2022, Splash Lagoon closed down for several weeks to make changes to its aging Tiki Treehouse play structure. The water park invested about $2 million in upgrades and other improvements and today's video will cover the new area in full. While Black Hole and Maui Wowie remain, two new slides with Typhoon Twister and Riptide Racers were added along with new spray areas and a brand new tipping coconut! What do I think of the new area? Oh my goodness!!!! I absolutely love the new treehouse of Splash Lagoon!!! I can’t wait to try out the new slides!!!! Fun fact, I am going to Splash Lagoon sometime in November and I am even going to do a retake of the elevator. Not sure if you filmed it yet. Let me know if you have.

Sadly I wasn't a fan of the new treehouse since it was uncomfortable on my feet and the new slides didn't do anything to me as seen in the analysis video. I'm sure you'll have a better time than I did. I do have a take of this elevator from this visit that has been scheduled on the personal channel :)

It was becoming outdated (was nearly 20 years old up to that point) and it was time for a upgrade! The only things that remain from the original are Maui Wowie and Black Hole

@@InsaneCoasterJunkie it was 22 years old. It's sad to see another SCS Interactive structure get demolished. But I wish they themed it better to resemble the old tree house.

That's not true. It opened in 2003 (so 19 years old). But yes I wish it was a better tropical theme instead of the generic beach theme they went with

I unfortunately couldn't get the timing with the new bucket. The old one was easier to time then this one because the new one has no signal

Just got back from there, and here’s some advice for the slides. 1. The blue and red slide. It’s goes VERY slow, as you can see in the video. The exit is kinda confusing, but you just walk out on your right. 2. The Black Hole. It is definitely pitch black. It isn’t very fast, but it’s not super slow. It’ll twist and turn you all around the slide, so brace yourself! 3. Maui Wowie. Sometimes you go fast, sometimes you go slow. I would recommend not going too too slow, but don’t go too too fast!

Great advice but here's my take, Typhoon Twister (red and blue) is the worst slide I've ever ridden, and Maui Wowie and Black Hole are just there in the slide lineup. Riptide Racers doesn't exist in my world so there's that

That was sadly canceled due to a time conflict after the game so I am unable to visit tomorrow. Although Conneaut Lake Park might be a worthy replacement given everything goes right (not spoiling things yet...)
