Coconut Burfi

mame main yeh burfi baati rehti hon .aap ki recipe se but main is main khoya add karna chati hon .kitna or kese add karo. plz advise me.

I always use frozen coconut . I mix both sugar & coconut & go on stirring them until it reaches the mentioned consistency . No need for boiling suger separately to get the thick string consistency

Sugar sweets are always easy to fix. We can just reheat the mixture and stir till it hardens

+Samita SN We need to keep stirring still we get single thread consistency. keep stirring and keep checking till you get one string before adding coconut

generally for coconut burfi we dont use jaggery. honestly i ahve not tried with vellam

Nice..a tip for soft burfi is to grind ( one swirl) grated coconut with a few cashews.....👌👍

For coconut burfi, fresh coconut will be the right choice. I tried once with desiccated coconut and the coconut becomes so crunchy and chewy

For coconut burfi we don't add milk or milk powder. For coconut ladoo we add milk

We don't add milk to coconut burfi Priyanka. But if you want to add, then don't prepare the sugar syrup. you can cook the fried coconut, sugar and milk together till it thickens and becomes non-sticky
