Cocoa Village to St. Augustine on a 65' Trawler E146
We leave the anchorage at Cocoa Village then head up the ICW to New Smyrna. We settle in for the night at a marina then head outside, into the ocean, to make our way towards St. Augustine. We explore the town and party with some new found friends.

It sounds like you are quite the Captain, Ed; knowing when to follow the markers and not the charts. Sounds like a sign of much experience. Very nice video. Loved the smooth jazz starting around the 9 minute mark. Wishing you and Lynn continued good travels!…Ed

The wife and I purchased our 58 Yachtfish last week. Will be bringing her up to Charleston from Stuart, Fl. Love the videos, will be checking out the marinas along the way back up. If you are ever down around Charleston, let us know. Love the videos, especially the DIY of upgrades/repairs. Fair winds and following seas.

Ssshhh, my boat does not know it is a motor-yacht. Actually we did that on purpose. If we list our boat as a trawler once in a while it puts us into a different algorithm with You Tube, and exposes us to a slightly different audience.
Hello what a great boat and crew. was wondering is this your first boat? Why I ask is we are thinking about a boat but was thinking 40'. your thoughts. Dan

This is our second boat. Our first was a Carver 355. If you look on our channel, the first 6 or 7 videos were us on the Carver.
For some reason I thought you guys were on a 1979 58’ Hat. What boat is this and what is your cruise speed and fuel burn? We are shopping and about 6 months from purchase. Love the channel. Edit: I saw your episode “what we spend on our boat”. It answered my questions.
@tryingnottosink9107

Yes, it's a 58MY. It is 58 foot, but the addition of a pulpit and a 3 foot swim platform make it 65 foot length overall. I found this out when I rented a 60 slip and my boat was hanging past the finger pier by five foot. The dockmaster thought I was trying to pull a fast one.
Did you two get a new vessel? does not appear to be the same Hatteras Sure that I'm mistaken!
@tryingnottosink9107

No, it's still the Hatteras 58MY.

Did you not mention haulover canal by name for a reason? And you know that it's the city of cocoa, and that coca village is just the downtown area yes?
@tryingnottosink9107

No, I just forgot the name was Haulover when I was editing the video. And I thought Cocoa Village and Cocoa Beach were different towns. In any case, we always anchor right outside the Village.

@@tryingnottosink9107 coca is a different city from cocoa beach. But cocoa village is just what they call downtown. There is no city called cocoa village.

Where is the 65' trawler? The Hatteras is not a trawler, it's a flushdeck motoryacht.

If we list our boat as a trawler once in a while it puts us into a different algorithm with You Tube, and exposes us to a slightly different audience. Top speed is around 19, cruise is around 14, we only go 10 knots because we are cheap.
