Nice to see two players play the game and NOT SCREAM ( a k a cheating ) at the top of their lungs throughout the match.

I think this was a really quality match the 1st set. The 2nd second, Gauff raised her level and dominated, while Zheng seemed to lose any hope she could win. Good to see Coco getting those 1st serves in and her movement is just top tier!

I can see Coco’s improvement. I have to realize she just crossed the line from a teenager to an adult. And hasn’t been playing as long as Iga and Sabalenka, as it takes times to clean up her flaws. I’m not an expert, but I see the difference in her game and the #1 seed, but she’s getting there!!!❤

@@marjorjorietillman856 for sure! Go back and watch Iga and Saba play when they were Coco’s age! Saba was a disaster! Just a few years ago, Saba couldn’t serve to save her life. It was embarrassing but look at her now. Coco will be one of the greats of this sport just keep watching!

@@marcusgraham5084 In Cincinnati, Iga played one of the worst matches I have ever seen, lack of concentration, lots of unforced errors. And even with Iga, who was not in the best shape, Coco had to fight for three sets to win. After this match, they played twice more and Coco didn't even win a set, not to mention that she never won against Iga on clay.

IGA does not give space when hitting the ball and knows how to use the court space.Coco must calculate her movement and hitting balls close to iga to disturb and put her on the baseline.Let's go coco.

In my opinion, I think she should use the one hand backhand that would give her more force. Yes, it has a lot more errors unless you can control it and it’s very hard to control. The one-handed backhand does have awesome two-handed backhand, but I do believe she would get more power out of that one-handed backhand.

Tennis is a very mental sport. Some players find it hard to recover when they have lost a very close 1st set that includes a tie break. Also, Gauff started to play freer when she won the 1st set and became more dominant.
