I had a normal grey cockatiel hen named Simone. My brother-in-law gave her to me in 1995. She was eight years old then. She perched on my shoulder everyday for 14 years until she died of old age at 22. We have two cocker spaniels now, but I miss my bird every day.

xD I have a yellow male cockatiel and im teaching him to sing well idk how to teach him how to sing xD but ya and ya and but ok nvm just just...just ok lemme stop talking

They really aren't that difficult, and they're great little companions. Mine is now 25, and he is pretty low maintenance, though he does need regular human interaction, since they are flock animals and go a little nuts when they're alone too much.

I heard they need a great amount of attention and care/love, i would really like a bird like this one, but unfortunately we cant have one :(
