Great quick review thanks. I am considering purchasing this watch. Are the N-S-E-W indices and bumps around the bezel rubber or plastic? TIA

They are hard and feel more like plastic than Rubber.

What does the bottom right button do ? and is the temperature in celsius or farhenheit ?

Iam waiting for mine to come in the mail really excited about it. Im wondering how long the battery will last. How is yours holding up? I used to go on really great adventures and when i saw this watch it made me think about all of them. Thanks for the review

Mine is holding up very well. I’ve had it for a few years and the battery is still going strong. I really like this watch.

I never heard of this Timex before. I love its versatility and overall design. How much is this watch and how bright is the indiglow feature?

yes it looks like plastic, but solid made. I have this watch for around 12 years now and still amazed with the design. from last 5 years or so I am using mostly using the samsung digital watch and this one very occasionally.

I thought about this one, but ended up going with a casio pro trek prg-650y night Safari

@@COCAB i like it, it works real good. The silicone band is real nice too, but I got a little bit of bug spray on the top of the band, and it ruined it from its original condition.

How do you reset the watch? my temp and compass hand is not working

I just tried it with mine - the left lower button activates the compass and the top right button does the temperature

My experience with this watch was unfortunately very bad. Ordered online and the watch I got I think was a return. As soon as I opened it I knew it was going right back. The lume pips weren’t lined up with the markets. I still wanted to see the features first and the watch just started beeping every time I hit a button., like to let me know it ain’t working. No way this left the factory like that.

I don’t know- mine has been great. Sorry you had a poor experience.

An important thing to know that tide clocks are very accurate for the Atlantic coast, need to be adjusted weekly for the Pacific, and aren't accurate for the Gulf of Mexico en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tide_clock
