Hey Scott, I just bought the Cobra 18R2 remote and module and I can't wait to try it out this 4th of July. I am new to using a "real" firing systems and my previous one sure was simple, but it was a press the firing button each time you wanted to light a cue. With only 5 cues available it was not the best system for me to sit back and enjoy the show since I still had to visaully check for each cues ingnotion. Now with the Cobra 18R2 system I am way over my head. Thank you in advance for setting up a time for us to talk over the phone to give me a better understanding of exactly how this system can be setup in it's various firing modes. Get some lightbulbs from Cobra, these work great for practice without having to burn up talons or e-matches, the bulbs are fully reuseable. Also these bulbs work for testing mini slats and multi slats for connections and for finding wiring problems.

Yes. You can execute a sub-sequence on a specific range of cues (e.g. 1-5). You can then manually fire any additional cues (e.g. 6-12) and finish with an automatic sequence on the remaining cues (e.g.13-18). This allows you to mix up firing methods in a single show. Additionally, after starting a sequence on one channel, you can switch to another channel and begin firing another sequence or manually firing cues before the first sequence is finished. Scott

I have a question - Is it possible to 'pre-program' a sequence, or do you have to do it on the fly? Say for example, you wanted to fire off cues 1-7 manually (e.g. hitting one button at a time) but the next 6 cues you want to be a sequence (so ideally when you hit 8, the preprogrammed sequence 8-13 is fired)? Is it possible to do this or would you have to go through the process demonstrated in your video after firing the first 7 cues?

Scott, can you fire the same channel from 2 modules at the same time? like for a left and right...

Once the system is in sequence mode, can you still execute individual cues by pushing the cue numbered button. Example: I sequence the opener and it has just finished now I want to manually fire cues 6- 12 by pressing the cue buttons. Then end 13-18 with another sequence. Is that possible with the current software?

Matt, can you shoot me an email? You will need to force unsync your remote and re-sync each 18M. Please give this a try.
