Now this looks like what I'm looking for in pickups, something that's still clear and percussive as a single coil but can still do high gain like a humbucker.

This demo really did these pickups justice.

I have been waiting for a demo to be posted for these for a while now. I am impressed that they still maintain the single coil sound despite being designed to be more like a humbucker.

These pickups are phenomenal. Just installed them in my 1998 Yamaha Pacifica and has transformed the guitar. Sounds amazing. They sound EXACTLY like this vid.

These are some of the finest single coil's I've heard in quite some time! I'm pretty-much a humbucker guy, so makes sense that these would shift my willy.

Superb demo and awesome playing. The roar when driven is very nice. I even like the clean tones. If I only had a another strat to BKP. For now I stick to my trusted Crawler/Irish Tours HSS strat.

Totally unique and awesome approach to pickup-building - the sound result is further exponentially impressive!!! Damn, now I need to get another strat to fit those in 🤣🤣🤣

I put cobras in my kiesel custom couple years ago! Absolutely sings! Love them!

Hi, very nice demo and pickups, I have a question? I would like to buy a pair of Cobra pickups for the middle and neck position. My guitar is an alder guitar with maple fretboard and I play hard rock and heavy metal. Which humbucker pickup do you recommend?

The Blackhawk is the matching humbucker for these, if you’re after a consistent tone all round. Otherwise, it’s entirely up to you. What I will say is that the Blackhawk has incredible clarity even with high gain sounds

What middle polarity you had in the middle pick up? Stock or RW/RP?

We recommend our custom Vitamin Q 0.022ufd caps for tone pots.

I wind pickups myself. I went looking around and found Bare Knuckle. I've been hearing a lot about them. The prices are ridiculous. I can't see what makes them cost any more than the ones I can wind myself or standard inexpensive pickups from the major brands. Why are bare knuckle products so much more expensive than everyone else?

We have built a solid reputation for making some of the best sounding pickups on the market, which is no accident - we manufacture our own components with absolutely no compromise on the quality of materials and wind and build everything by hand here in our workshop in Cornwall. The huge amount of return custom that we have seen over our 20+ years in business is testament to how effective that ethos of building bespoke pickups in a completely uncompromising way has proved to be. The Cobra singlecoil set is actually a great example, as I don't believe that anyone else is making a comparable set. We are the only people making the heat-treated blades and constructing a singlecoil pickup in the particular way that those are built.
