That announcement clip looks like I might be right about Kreese fleeing the country after his escape from jail to go meet with Kim Da-Eun, the granddaughter of his sensei Kim Sun-Yung in South Korea. They'll enter the name Cobra Kai into the Seikai Taikai tournament, and Daniel/Johnny will run into Kreese there.

The movie was coming out this december but it was changed a few days ago to align with Cobra Kai which makes it more likely it will be tied in

Mr Han is closer to Daniel's age than Mr. Miyagi. Han was in his 50s in Karate Kid (2010) Mr Miyagi dies in 2011 at age 86 so it unlikely Han and Miyagi were war buddies.

It would be great to see Hilary Swank, since she was trained by Mr. Miyagi

Im glad the Sixth and final season going to be breaking up into 3-Parts. I'm guessing and hoping that they are waiting to get Oscar and Emmy winner Hilary Swank character Julie Pierce to be part of this event because she is also part of the Miyagi-verse....The Actor and Writer Strike probably messed up all the actors especially the younger one filming schedules. During this time of filming the final season they had other projects to do which explains the three part finale to work around their schedules like actor Xolo Maridueña who play Miguel and Blue Beetle is currently busy with James Gunn DCU.

Where did you get your Miyagi quote hoodie "First learn stand then learn fly"? love it! I know I'm in the minority hut I have always liked Sam.

This splitting it up in 3 parts is BS. I'm glad I don't pay for these shitty streaming sites, I just torrent. Stranger things S5 is gonna be one episode every 6 months to really stretch it out for 10 years. Fuck these companies, they always find a way to kill a show's momentum and hype so they can get more suckers to sub them up for months and years.

@@kgrainz6265 These are the types that accept this shit and is the reason why these companies do it. Sorry but 5 episodes of a 15 episode season shouldn't be spaced apart by 5-8 months, ruins the shows momentum and hype but these execs could give a shit if people drop them in the far future as long as they can hold on to their subs for another 1-2 years. Nearly all American companies think short term gains over long term. Also streaming shows was usually MUCH better then watching TV shows, now they are making us wait MONTHS, and MONTHS for a few shows, not 10-15-20 episodes, tv shows looking back is much better. 15 episodes and they start this July, and will end sometime next summer probably lol, it's almost like 3 more seasons instead of one.
