Thomas Ian Griffiths had he been younger would've made a great Eobard Thawne. Terry Silver like Thawne is so precise, calculating, methodical and knows when to make the move when needed.

Honestly the worst thing Anthony did to Kenny on his own was take his clothes. His friends were a part of everything else.

The early seasons of "One Tree Hill" Thomas Ian Griffiths plays a nice loveable dad to Hilary Burton's Peyton.

I love hearing some love for Thomas Ian Griffith's acting!! That guy has been so underused by Hollywood it's frustrating! At least he gets to shine in the last few seasons of this show 🖤

This was easily one of the best episodes of the show! My favorite episodes were 4, 5, 8, 10

Also, like most Cobra Kai's episode titles are either references to Karate Kid in some way or clever puns, this episode's called Downward Spiral, referencing both Daniel's situation and Splasharama's spiral slides :P

The funny thing is actress Peyton List(Tori) and Jacob Bertrand(Eli "Hawk") are dating in real life and to see their interaction in the show and sweet eye contact is pretty cool!

I disagree. No one deserves to be bullied and when Anthony apologized, he meant it. I can't stand Kenny. His behaviour is unacceptable. If you've got bullied and got the chance of a little payback and your bully apologises to you, then you take that and move on. For me the bully wouldn't exist anymore. I would just ignore him/her, knowing that I finally can handle the bully.

Terry Silver is essentially the Tywin Lannister of the Karate Kid verse. (Oh, and Ramsay for the sadism).

Not sure if this is an Easter egg or reference but the mention of the Typhoon ride having a 5-story fall made me think of Karate Kid II when Kumiko was stuck at the bell tower during the typhoon, maybe that tower was 5 stories high?

The conflict between the two dojos centers around a water slide. In the original Karate Kid, on Daniel’s first date with Ali, he notes the water slide at Golf N Stuff. Ali:“We’ll do that next time.” Daniel:“Why next time?” Ali: “Because we need bathing suits!” Daniel: “Bathing suits….right…” Two dojos came prepared this time, albeit not at Golf N Stuff.

I hate seeing Amanda blame Daniel for retaliating against Silver. I hate seeing Terry Silver act like such a nice person and having people on his side... I'm going through something similar. There's an evil scumbag ruining my life at every opportunity, taking away my friends, destroying my relationships... And somehow everybody thinks he's so great because he acts so polite and generous around them... I've been tormented by him for years and he turned my girlfriend against me too, and now he's in a relationship with my friend who is so kind and pure and sweet, and the thought of them together makes me sick, but I don't want to hurt her so I don't get involved like he did with my relationship. But that's not good enough for him, he's still destroying my life. And he says this is just "phase 1" of his plans... I'm dealing with a real fucking Terry Silver here and the people I love are fooled by his crap... I feel so sorry for Daniel being judged and blamed for defending himself and the people he cares about, because that's what's happening to me. At this point I can't even stand up for myself or explain my feelings without people thinking I'm the problem.

I'd recommend breaking off with everyone and start off fresh somewhere else, once a sociopath has corrupted your friends, or should I say "friends", there is little you can do, the more you try to convince them of the opposite, the sociopath has already corrupted their minds, I went through similar things many times in my life, but enough was enough, I broke off with everyone I used to know except one who had my back more or less and he also broke away from them all. You cannot win against a sociopath unless you are willing to risk a lot. Sociopaths usually target people who are naive, or people like me who has something that they want, in my case it was my friends.

miyagi-do easter egg reference is actually deeper. those bonsai from karate kid III are still around. they collected them back for a cameo in this episode but then daniel helps destroy them. weak roots.

I think out of all battles between the teens Robbie & Miguel have the best chance to have a mutual understanding. Unfortunately Miguel keeps jumping the shark like Daniel did in this episode. Robbie seems to have started to make amends w/ his dad & I think in his mind & heart he eventually wants to make mends w/ Miguel tho that would take some time considering the fall that Miguel took at the school but when Robbie saw what he did he was in shock & scared in the moment. He never meant to hurt Miguel to that extent. So in the end, Im hoping they can have a sit down & jus have a peaceful talk. They dont have to end up friends but they can mutually squash any animosity they have towards one another

This is one of those episodes that remind you how childish this show actually is. The kids having to stay on different sides of the waterpark to avoid fighting, that peace falling apart because one sided has the ''cooler slides'' and then they settle the beef with a race down a water slide. I absolutely love the show but you do have to accept the childishness

Johnny is my favorite overall and excuse me lol johnny looks young still and looks so good, I even liked him in the movie back then, I like Robby even though yes last season he made me mad. Tory is trying to change which makes me like her, I kept saying don’t turn on them please. this season Kenny pissed me off, he was even a bigger bully, I didn’t like silver more than I didn’t like Kreece lol I literally watched this show in one night I can’t wait for the next season
