COBÁN, GUATEMALA IS MY KIND OF CITY 🇬🇹 CITY TOUR
Cobán, the capital of the department of Alta Verapaz is located in central Guatemala, 219 kilometers / 136 miles north of Guatemala City. I spend a day here and I must say it is my kind of city. Join me as we explore the city. I start my day by trying to find a bank to exchange currency. I meet a very nice lady named Mary who offers to show where to change money and she also guides me around the city! We visit Plaza Magdalena, El Peñascal restaurant, where I try Subanik (a local dish that originated from the Maya of Guatemala), Parque Nacional Las Victorias, and El Calvario Church.
