Gravity pulls the weekend material quickly downwards Erosion- breaking down of the base of rock on the cliffs, hydraulic action- impacts of water again the coastline Abrasion- rocks and pebbles carried by waves Solution-chemical action of seawater which dissolves some rocks Attrition- rocks rubbed together to form ambler peaces Transportation- where rocks are tranported Traction- larger boulders of rocks rolled over the sea bed Suspension- sand ad small particles are carried along in the flow Solution-chemical action of seawater which dissolves some rocks Saltation-Smaller stones are bounced along the sea bed Longshore drift. Deposition-finally deposited where could be forming spits and bars erosional landforms- arch- formed by 2 caves erode back from either sides of headland and meet in the middle Cave- formed when the waves erode a weakness in the rocks such as joint or fault Stack- formed when arch collapses stumps- eroded stacks Depositional landforms- beaches spits bars
