Those scallops looked absolutely delicious! Maybe head back out after the next storm to see if you can find more. How many clams can you keep? I am also jealous. If I lived where I could forage every day or couple of days like you do, I would be out all the time. I love shellfish! You have an awesome diversity of species on a clean beach. You should pour this clams over a bit of linguini. Hmmm Makes me hungry. Where has Sam been?

Hey Smash guy, you always mention saving the scraps from your catches, or the coral from your scallops, for bait. I found an old recipe for paella that mentions saving specifically the coral from scallops, but also other seafood scraps in general, for use in making a really dense pungent seafood stock that you can then freeze and use in soups and bisques and things like that. Dunno if you even thought of doing that, but thought I would mention it.

I found that when cooking with chilli powder, to add it last or at the end because if u overcook or burn it it will become more bitter tasting. And I've heard if you add a drop of your favorite hot sauce on your clam before you eat it, it just sets off the flavors. I love your videos

Great vid again, I'm surprised you never took the large ribbed shell clams, but love it all, and I guess maybe those giant clams maybe had pearl inside when alive, yes Jay try using single cream with paprika in it, my father use to cook squid in the single cream with paprika, and maybe some garlic in the sauce too but he only did this with squid, and probably would be good with mix of muscles and squid, try it maybe off camera one day, you maybe surprised, but keep thd vids coming, great stuff

Man, after seeing about 20 of your vids, I gotta give one piece of advice. When you're eating your catch in the kitchen, please please stand up, walk right up to your camera and give us a close-up. Every time you put the camera in the same place across from your table and I wanna have a nice close-up of the food before you chow it down. Would be awesome. Poor Sam missed out this time haha. Love your channel dude. Hell yeah.
