I worked at the Studios in Maidstone. Such a great place with lovely people from make up wardrobe props buyers. We had a blast. The music evokes memories of a happy time for me.

Such a catchy and memorable theme, the sort you could easily whistle and hum along to. It's quite extraordinary to think that Coast to Coast was last on air nearly thirty years ago. It was an excellent regional news programme and quite frankly puts the current ITV News Meridian output to shame in every respect.

Thank you so much. Worked at TV. Started in C2C newsroom and sat next to Mike Debens. Great place to work. Stayed til we lost franchise to Meridian in 93.

Ed Welch produced catchy television themes on an industrial scale. He was truly a musical genius. I believe he also composed the theme for TSW Today, next door to Coast to Coast land.

I'm looking for the TVS Late Night Late extended theme do you have it?

Used to spend a lot of time in Eastbourne back in the day, so got the Maidstone studio version of Coast to Coast which was an excellent local news programme that won awards. Mike Debens, the main host, seemed a thoroughly nice, and decent bloke. Is he still around now?

Mike Debens worked in production for Meridian tv from 2003, lived in France for a while, and now lives in Southern Spain. His second wife was Meridian reporter Samantha Williams. He's 72 now, so I'm guessing he's retired.
