COAP offers are final, interview is a part of admission process which is supposed to be over before an institute offers the admissions.

Sir my gate score is 542 Civil, category - EWS. I didn't get any offer in round 1. Is there any chance of getting offer from iit kgp, roorkee or guwahati in transportation or geotech in upcoming rounds? Sir please Reply so that I can get clarity.

There is a chance from guwahati.if there was an interview but you might have to wait longer

Not actually a doubt.... but i can't understand why each round is scheduled after one full week. I think it makes our decision to choose a nit over waiting for an iit more difficult

Civil in IITD is good. You can check the department QS rankings too. IIT Bombay is good but you have done better than geotechnical. So I would say go for IITD.

@@EdSharpener i have cleared ESE mechanical prelims and currently preparing for mains. I even intend to attempt CSE. So even though i would love to go into research, this is a dilemma I am currently facing, whether to go for research or prepare exams for jobs. If you can, with your experience and looking towards you as an elder brother, please help how to resolve this issue.
