The "Coal to Solar in Carrier Mills" partnership has a mission to bring solar and energy efficiency to the Carrier Mills community to reduce energy costs and build community resilience. Over the course of Phase 2 the team built community support, conducted energy audits and solar feasibility studies on nine community owned buildings, and we are continuing to work to advance energy efficiency and clean energy projects together to harness the economies of scale. The partnerships and trust we have built are leading to clean energy initiatives in other rural communities.
