it's actually weirder to not be able to sing than it is to be able to sing. We are primates. Singing is how we spent millions of years going about the business of staying alive and procreating. What these shows are selling isn't talent. It's the reaction of the audience and the celebrities to the character development that keeps people watching. Don't confuse talent with practiced common skill.

Her voice is amazing and nobody sounds like her. It's a distinct sound and when you hear it... you know who it is. I love singers like that. And what an amazing moment for her! Wow.

YESSSS MARA! She’s a beast! I rooted for her when she was on American Idol! Now she’s even more seasoned and has even more control! I think she’s gone be my front runner just knowing how good she already is and how much passion she always sings with! I love how warm her voice has gotten and the rasp she developed more. How this girl did not win this Seasons Voice is mind blowing, Huntley is phenomenal but Mara is that and so much more entertaining.

dang! her voice gives continuous goosebumps. those low notes are perfect. her vocal range is sooo wide

instant impact with her tone, all that rasp and those husky low notes. Then she floats into the higher notes and works the stage, all the while emoting the lyrics. Really enjoyed this! - So You Wanna Be A Singer

I love the US version of The Voice, the judges are hilarious and the banter back and forth is just part of why it’s so great. BUT the Australian version has been out of this world with talent this year!! So many outstanding voices.

I agree. The US version has great banter and a nice comedic element to it, but the talent in AU is out of this world. That said, the AU version has its funny moments too, and it can be fun to see a coach go rogue from time to time.

I loved this. Her lows are so beautiful and so in control. Her tone is what I really like in a voice. Also her personality is spot on.

She sang Sara Bareilles‘s version of the song. I do kind of wish that that was said, but she’s awesome. Her voice is so rich and deep, her lows are some of the best I have heard in a long time. And when she harmonize with John… The chefs kiss!

AGT, to American Idol to The Voice. She gave us alittle taste of what she can really do/sing. Mara has a high vocal range. She's a superstar. That's her mother there, she never ages, still looks young.
