As well as holding on to every word that's been said, so he can interject and correct thar they're a family lol like he said, to blk folks this is history that a blk man 'PRIME' has gotten a chance to have full control over a team, but to them it's the MONEY, so he it's FAMILY one big FAMILY

Facts bro! Gods people will soon be everywhere. Who would of every thought a living legend as a player would end up in Boulder Colorado? Sometimes we have to listen to God and do what he’s planned for Us and not what we planned for ourselves. I can honestly say watching these videos have kept me on a high knowing there’s good people doing the right thing. Loving on people and making sure that those who are close to you and their families are living a nice life…… That’s the true essence of one of GODS SOLDIERS. Continue to LEAD Coach Prime……

It will be interesting to see how the new recruits from the south adapt to Boulder. I’m from the south myself and Boulder is a very different kind of place. I admire Coach Prime so much for a lot of reasons. He knows the culture shock for some of his players and probably for a few Boulderites may be acute but there is a lot of goodwill on both sides. Coach Prime knows what needs to be done.

Carson, I appreciated and enjoyed your coverage of Coach Prime's visit into the main areas of the CU campus for the beginning of Black History Month. African Americans generate and spend multiple billions of dollars yearly. And word travels quickly when we find out that specific communities are welcoming and accommodating. Coach Prime and his staff are doing some very special things in Colorado. Thank you for welcoming him and all African Americans who might choose to visit your great state. From all the way down here in Atlanta Georgia where Coach Prime began his professional football career with the Atlanta Falcons, we send you greetings by saying 'Go BUFFS'!

Make sure you mention all the negitive things too. You said the "entire city"? Have you visited Jackson, MS? Mississippi not the bed of roses you think. Just stick with mentioning the campus because the city is a hell hole and that culture you mentioned have no problem giving you a guided tour. Any state in the union where the population of the "culture" is over 15% is a murder capitial.

That's the new football team's hangout spot. See, Deion had FAMU to go to when he was at FSU. FAMU is a selling point to black football players who attend FSU. I found this out from a person who lives in Tallahassee. FAMU is an HBCU. Deion visited FAMU a lot and met his first wife there. Deion knows his newcomers don't have a black space like that in Boulder. So, very smart move to visit the center and do a tour. A key selling point to get recruits.

Coach Prime gets a long so he can go a long way. With that said, I'm sure deep inside, he's like, "African & American Studies"? How much money is the school pumping into this program? Is it teaching our kids to go out and be successful? That's the bottom line. And the answer is probably "No". Colleges and Universities should have more classes on finance, business, customer service, banking, communications, speech, and Proper English. Those are the lifelong skills they will carry on their careers and their whole lives. African American studies? Women studies? No.

  • @willh69

To be fair, those classes you listed are literally the backbone of any successful educational institution. But to add to this, if no-one records and teaches history then there's no knowledge of what has been, under any contexts other than what is taught by a central system that has only itself in mind. It may not be viewed as the societal priority in this day and age of economic necessity, but the variety of viewpoints including understanding what has been before, is what makes for a varied and interesting education when you eventually go out into the world and the workforce.

When it was Black American studies, you did get some of that because American entrepreneurs and navigating through that terrain was taught. When they turned Black Studies departments into Africana Studies, it diluted and shifted the success mission. Black Americans never bought into the "lost identity" propaganda until these escapists infiltrated. Black Stuides focused on Black American builders. These folks are global Wakandaists.

As an athlete who graduated with an economics degree, your comment is so short sighted, many people go to college for more than elevating their economic status they're expanding their experiences with other groups. That what makes you a leader. I guess in your mind liberal arts should be eliminate, music, creativity, etc. Do you know how many kids with the degrees you suggested are working in retail, sales, checkout cashier or unemployed. banks are being shut down. many things in finance are going online. customer service doesn't pay. Also, the market is saturated with those degrees you mentioned. My economics degree didn't help. My wife came from Singapore, and I invested in her business back in 199 and she's top 10% in income without a degree for a decade. Now if they're in the stem field, that's another conversation. But you failed to mention the Stem field and maybe you don't know what that is. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Kids today have poor communication skills and don't operate well in uncomfortable or favorable environments, like my era, which is why you need a balanced curriculum. Thats why schools like Stanford want you to do extra-curricular activities because being smart isn't enough anymore. Lastly, what you're talking about is a trade school. Not a university. Have a great week.

The founder was doing too much talking about welcome home and saying if things get hectic you can come over here. That wasn't smart and was a bad look. Prime is doing something amazing there and opening up doors for everyone and changing the thinking of Colorado. It's such a great thing to have the facility opening up on that campus but don't start off a new relationship with the AD or president of the school by making comments like that just to have to clean it up. Be the founder and not the one who's trying to do too much. This is a wonderful opportunity for us there at that school so don't inject those types of statements in front of people who are just waking up to a big change in their schools culture. He could've started off by saying I'm looking forward to all of us working together as one to bring forth this positive change and historic period in our schools history. If he said that then it would go a lot further than that ish he Said but congrats anyway because this is historic
