I think what would be great if the vanilla game had coop is coop glory kills for bosses, imagine if the cutscene had 2 slayers stabbing the icon of sin with crucibles

I just love how there is a t-posing slayer at the end

Oh that's what you mean. I added that in there since Co-op launched.

When the 2 most athletic kids at the playground are on the same team.

This fits in so naturally. DE needed proper co-op support along with other traditional MP components like death match and Snap Map for custom levels and campaigns. Doom Eternal is a game missing out on so many opportunities.

Co-op would probably break the game’s balance, unless they add some extra enemies. Makes me wonder how doom eternal would have turned out if covid wasn’t in the way. And texas blackout

@@2025fahaddenseje I dont think it really matters if it breaks game balance, wouldve been fun either way, couldve just made it such that co-op is unlocked only after your first playthrough so that everyone gets the "true" experience or just added native mod support so that mods like these are easier to install and play

Still looks great even if it's unofficial. Gotta wait for that rumoured official mod support.

Every day you guys inch further to a full co op campaign, can't wait to see whats next!

Modders deserve just as much credit as the people who work on the games themselves and I'll stand by that statement. While I don't play Doom that much this is a jumpstart into the possibilities of what mods can be done for this game and I'm all for it! Keep up the good work!

imagine this is what the sequel to doom eternal looked like. Something like where the doomguy's reach of demonic hierarchy is so high that he has to scale the multiverse to kill the next level of demon rulers so there is a way to explain the 4 player co-op of slayers

That's been done before. Have you seen Delta's The Holt in his TAG1 master campaign? It's quite janky which is why no one else wants to port the Icon of Sin to other levels.

When I try to enter other numbers for any of the other maps, it doesn't work. The only map that works is fortress of doom. Any idea on how to fix that?

No, they generally focus on the closest Slayer if they aren't actively attacking another.

Development has shifted towards Deathmatch, Co-op, and Invasion. Many of the custom enemies you may have seen are present in Konvaz's Slayerpalast or my Co-op mods.

Imagine adding the "you can't damage your friend" setting and playing in Super Gore Nest Master Level on Ultra-Nightmare... That would be awesome, imagine both players shooting at four Tyrants in the final arena with the music pumping both up...
