I remember seeing Nate beyond football for the first time with the Lions. You could see his charisma and intelligence during interviews and community events. Well deserved!

I'm just finding out Nate Burleson does legitimate news anchor stuff now. I'm super impressed. He played with the Detroit Lions for a couple years and he always had a lot of charisma, charm and intellect. His family has to be proud. What a Renaissance man.

He's so well-spoken, and I love the fresh perspective he brings into the conversation!!

He was such an awesome player. Im a big lions fan so when I saw matt stafford, jim schwartz, and cliff avril congratulated him, it was like a throwback. Its pretty cool he is doing the news, congratulations.

Apparently he is a former NFL player so if you ever watch football on sundays you’d hear about him. He played 11 seasons then was a host on a morning footballs show. But If you don’t follow anything football then you wouldn’t know about him. He is popular in the sports world. It’s basically a page from Good Morning America’s playbook with Michael Strahan. It’s trendy now to have a black male athlete discussing minute geo- political and economic issues. Blah blah blah

Has anyone seen an interview with Anthony Mason since he left?!? So CBS says he'll be a musician's interviewer now but we probably won't see him but maybe 3 or 4 times a year?!? Shame on you CBS! Should have gotten rid of Oprah's bestie instead!

The set looks great. Admittedly I have not been a fan of his on CBS Sunday pregame but I do wish you well sir. I will also miss Anthony Mason a true professional. Maybe if they got Gayle to not give such long winded questions and answers the show would grow. She's good at her job but sometimes she just goes on too long

The chemistry is definitely better. Yeah, Gayle King clearly did not like Anthony Mason. Meanwhile, Tony remains as the token white boy. Something CBS should really consider though. How is it that a person that is universally despised by the public continues to be your lead anchor? No one I know likes Gayle King. Also, how does this person continue to be a lead anchor and have so much power when the show is continuously in third place? To me, that should obviously tell you what the problem is. Gayle King‘s legacy is “Oprah‘s friend“. That’s all! Despite her, I watch CBS is because it’s more news intensive. It’s not like the personality driven shows on the other networks that are like “Hey, look at us and how fabulous we are”. Did Gayle jump on Tony for wearing gym shoes? He’s not wearing them anymore.

3/15/2022...I was asking "Kentucky" why can't black men own homes in Kentucky such as Nate Burleson? AND Why isn't he his own light source in New Jersey? Well, Nate Burleson is technology...right? Men do not need to know "all" the beauty secrets.

First, let me say you are a great anchor/sportscaster/speaker. That being said, I think you should give more attention to your dress. I watch CBS Mornings and I often see you wearing argyle or some varied pattern socks that distracts from your overall ensemble. Nate, I don't know if you know this but your socks should be the least noticeable item in your dress. To give you some idea of what I'm talking about.....let's say you wore a dark-colored suit, white shirt pale tie and.......bright red socks. The socks will draw attention away from everything else you might be wearing and that's just fine if you want to make such an eccentric statement but today's discerning dresser knows better.

Good luck Nate.. Love you at GMFB and I am sure you will be great in this show…
