A member of the group, Cha Joo Hyuk (stage name Kangho), was found to be a former school bully and fans protested to take him off screen . The thing with South Korea is one apple would spoil an entire basket, thus the group lost its popularity. They were new rookies back then so their fan base wasn't strong enough to shield them.

@@Alice.kino. это не "айдолы" а артисты и звёзды. слово "айдол" древнего проихождения в западной цивилизации и имеет исключительно плохое значение. Я вообще не понимаю как это слово проникло в K-pop и J-pop после 2012 года и почему стало популярным, но это жесть как неправильно и тьфу. Старые к-поп фанаты никогда не называли артистов так. А про "зацикливание на прошлом", ну если посмотреть со картины шире а не как фанат, да - это важно. Почему? Потому что артисты как бы узор, им все подражают, они в центре внимания общественного и публичного, особенно в индустрии популярной музыки. В Корее не как на западе и в Америке, делают что хотят и наркоманию рекламируют и разврат итд - в Корее нету такого, у них есть понятия о рамках поведения и о том как и что публично может быть показанно. Фанаты особенно младшие всегда копаются не только по песням но и по личной жизни артиста, узнают что нрава что не нрава, поведение, вкусы, итд. Это заразно и influence может быть большой, особенно у тех у кого переходный возраст или проблемы с воспитанием итд. Если начнуть подражать артисту с плохой репутацией это никуда не годится. По этому соблюдается то как публичная фигура то есть k-pop артист должен быть 'чистым" в прошлом, потому что поет про хорошие концепты - а то потом оказывается поет одно а творил или творит другое. Талант одно, но для артиста не только это нужно, целая картина о человеке должна сложится нормально. Конечно многие ошибаются когда нибудь, но если в самом начяле артист не сказал ничего про свои прошлие проступки и еще не установил свое место в индустрии то двери сразу закрываются в этот мир.

Their company is shit Eunkyo bullying scandal,Kangho rape scandal,T-ara Bullying Scandal, Davichi scandal... most of them were false but the company doesnt know how to deal with this shit...

I used to really like them! Before this group disbanded. :( They had great songs, one of which is this. The group's concept was always interesting to me. There aren't a lot of co-ed groups in KPOP and there should be more since Co-Ed makes it look really good. This group had so much potential and I don't doubt they'll be one of the hottest and most iconic groups in the industry had they not separated ways.

I remember when this came out..I thought it was very interesting. This group had a lot of potential and this video was cool. I'm not sure what happened to them.

The group disbanded the boys are all now in a group called SPEED 3 of these members left though and new members were added, the girls also lost and added members their now a girlgroup call F-ve Dolls

Ande Lau ee omgod I cringed when I read this .. mbk stop plisss . They srsly need a management class . They throw their money all on T-ara . Speed srsly have alot of potential but they promote them as a background dancer of t-ara . They having a comeback every two year or liddat but tara have it every year . They cant even protect their artist when scandals came out ( it reminds me of the old woolim , you know when tablo's scandal came out they abandoned epik high just like that ) .

Damn Co-Ed School was great until they had disbanded. It's a horrible irony that Co-Ed School ended up just like all other mixed gender groups. If they had been under S.M. Entertainment (or any of the big three) they probably would have stuck together and been more successful. Instead of being split into subgroups which became independent. Just my opinion.

I really regret & sad about their broke up group... :'( I really love this group because for their rare combination...Different from other normal group...They really had a great & outstanding talent...I still not give up on them!(Although I know It's Too Late..)

Came from BigBang&2NE1's 'Lollipop' and hoping there's actually a band like their collab. Guess I'm glad to find this? Even if late 11 years later. They said GG + BG isn't a thing in Kpop as lack of fandom crush factor, but I felt more crush by mixed group concept indeed. The real reason must be single gender group is way controllable for long lasting bond, without opposite attracts, scandals and heartbreaks.

Lindà ELF Yes he was the leader of this group then when this group disbanded in 2011 all the boys became SPEED which he was also the leader of until he left in 2015 (I think) then SPEED disbanded last year

Aww, it's really sad that they disbanded. Like honestly, their visuals were on point, and their songs were pretty catchy. The only thing I don't like is the fact that they use 100 pounds of auto tune in their songs. But other than that, these companies really should've put in more effort into helping this group, instead of letting them disband 😢. But hopefully we'll have some more succesful co-ed groups in the future, like K.A.R.D

This was the first kpop song i've ever heard, and I became obsessed😢 now Im here jamming all by myself to this Now Im an Army lol.

I can't believe over half of the original members are gone. It's not even the same group anymore. I miss this so much..but whatever changes come to the group, I'll support them 100%

According to CCM they have. CCM said in an interview in 2013 that their new sub-units (speed and five dolls) have grown so much in popularity that they have no plans on making a comeback with Co-Ed ever again. :(

Three of the guys (Jungwoo, Sungmin and Taewoon) are in Speed with four new members, Noori was currently released off his military service, Kwanghaeng is a mystery hes disappeared off the grid and Kangho is supposedly acting under a New name because of the scandal that broke out involving him

Shwesin They disbanded because of the scandal, they had so many issues with the fact they were the first co-ed group. Media though they lived together when they didnt even house in the same building and had no idea where the others dorm was. So they had issues with that, then Kangho was accused of raping a classmate before debut, he left the group shortly after she took back her claim (people speculate that his father paid her to be quiet cause mafia relations) After that, they were quiet for a year. They split them up into 5Dolls and Speed. They tried to debut 5Dolls but then bullying scandals between Soomi, Chanmi and new member, Eunkyo, broke out.... causing 5dolls to go on hiatus till it was sorted out resulting in Soomi and Chanmi leaving. Speed added and lost members, and then debuted with the current line up and are working on a comeback currently. 5Dolls has disbanded indefinitely as theyre no longer even on the MBK/CCM artist page.
