And this is why I don’t leave my dog in a daycare situation. It makes me nervous to even leave them at the vet.

This is why I cant even go on vacation for a day. When I went to Europe and left my dogs with my boyfriend at the time..I was so nervous it ruined my time away.

The industry isn't regulated enough, and any loser can say they're a dog trainer. I would never leave a dog in a training facility. Train them yourself, or go with them for day-training.

My husband trains and we have come across a lot of trainers we don’t see eye to eye with because of their view on corporal punishment. That’s what it is to us . Haha My husband trains aggressive bully breeds. Our last foster bit and shook small female dogs and had some food aggression. My husband trained this and she is in a forever home and even has dog friends now ❤ but we had her for a year… we named her cocoa with her owners haha i agree there are more bad trainers then good ones. We like Thomas Davis.

They need to shut this place down no one should ever abuse animals for any reason!!!

A business like this should be closed immediately. The doggy day care in my area has workers who behave the same- I have seen them pull on collars and be rough with the dogs. When I asked about this in regards to my own dog, the owner screamed at me and dismissed me from their business. The defensiveness of these business owners says it all, no accountability and only worried about protecting themselves.

I'd be in jail if someone touched my dog like that. I promise.

Reminds me of that guy that threw his dog into the ocean and then prevented people from rescuing it. Then he had the nerve to deny it all in a news interview afterward, even though it was all on video. They are both narcissists.

Yes, dogs require structure and leadership, but not abuse. I hope that the correct action is taken in this matter. The owner got an attorney, those affected should too.

Maybe, it’s best not to open doggie day care if you need to use your feet to control a dog. I never have and I’ve been around a lot of dogs.

Woah! I worked for a doggy daycare for 16 years. It was originally named Pet Play and Stay. This is the woman that sent us a cease and desist and made us change our name.

This is why I use a dog care business that uses cameras I can check at any time both in the kennel my dog stays in and in the play area.

I have professional-level experience training German Shepherds to the protective service level and some experience rehabilitating abused Pit Bulls, German Shepherds and Terriers. In addition, I have several years of experience investigating animal abuse and pushing for legislation to criminalize abuse. From the tiny bit of video I saw showing interaction with one dog, I would be hesitant to destroy a business. If there are more videos that show abuse, please link them with your news story. Details matter. If abuse is happening, the owner should be arrested. If not, this might deprive a community of a business serving dogs and cause financial hardships to the owners.

I may touch some nerves in people but if u have to go on trips all the time and have to leave ur pup with strangers that only wants the money but does not care or love ur dog. Don't get one it's not right for the dog to have to go through abuse while you take triips.

Couldn’t pay me to leave my dog at any “doggy” place. It’s not just the people but forced interactions with other dogs is the opposite of socialization and is often a factor in dog aggression later on in the dogs life.

This tells me they will hire anybody and not feed the dogs right at the dog gives him difficulty or anything because the dog cannot speak for themselves they're going to abuse them. This abuse cannot be tolerated they don't know how to take care of dogs you're supposed to do positive constructive Training and positive reinforcements to treat and click in positive training these people are not using positive training they're getting mad and frustrated and they're taking it out on these animals it doesn't matter what the lady thinks about what that lady did to their dog if you're going to allow that be done to your dog and they're going to pull the dog up like that it's practically choking them you wouldn't do that to a child you don't do that to a pet and the pet owner who owns that pet who found out she just said I want to sue them for it cuz that's animal cruelty the dog will never forget that the pet owner was the one who took them there and they were abused their the doctors not forget it's the owner's fault the dog does not forget the owner was the one who put them in that predicament so they need to do better that he needs to do better for their dog. And that woman who's running that business looks like a punk woman who does not care about anybody else he's in it for the money she doesn't care about what happens to the animal she hires anybody and she has no idea how to praying and how to do positive reinforcement through click and treat and they need to be shut down. This is not a smear campaign like they're claiming it is and threatening them if they try to go and pick it around them what tells you is there hiding they're hiding the fact they hire people who are abusing the animals they're hiding the fact they do have accountability they're hiding the fact that they are a business that abuses animals and they're so desperate to keep it under wraps will do anything to silence anybody including a protest and threaten people why lawyering up that tells you they have dirt in the closet they have skeletons in the closet and it's going to come out sooner or later and they're just trying to lower up to try to prevent that from happening shut the business down

Close the daycare! She has no business running a doggie daycare! Doggie parents pay a lot of money to make sure our fur babies are cared for and happy. The owner needs to find a new business….she is not a person I would want around my fur baby.

Oh ya lady go watch Mo Mountain Mutts they got a doggie day care in Alaska and a school bus that picks the doggo's up. Lots of dogs Lots of Love... This lady should not work with animals.

Love how the dogs go to their own seats on the bus. Very organized with the dogs and the dogs all have good behavior.

You should never yell at or hit your dog as this will only teach him to fear you

Positive reinforcement doesn't work for all dogs. Most dogs at daycare are not the best trained and can't be left alone or have too much energy for people who work a 9-5. In my eyes, this isn't abuse. It's a correction. Who knows what this dog was doing prior. Also, the dog was probably given warnings before. They're dogs, not children.

I think this is just weird - I'm embarrassed as a human, that people take their dogs to 'doggy daycare' and then post complaints that show nothing. Seriously?! Honestly I am the first one to condemn animal abuse but here I see her trying to control a jumping puppy by holding his collar and redirecting him by pushing his back end with her foot, not kicking him, getting his attention to sit. She is correct about being in control of a pack, you have to be firm with ones who won’t listen. I do believe in positive training but firmness has its place too. Not kicking, slapping and worse. But…. I will never leave my dog with anyone, not a dog daycare, kennel, groomers or pet sitters. I have worked with all and have seen a lot, especially abuse by neglect.
