Her testimony was prejudicial which means Trump is not getting a fair trial. Jury instruction is not enough of a remedy.

Its understandable why they went into detail. I remember for example once a witness described a mole on the perpetrator's penis to prove she wasn't making up the claim. When you have someone that "normal people", might think is unscrupulous, simply making a claim that allows them to add their own bias cuts against the original claim. Noone wants salacious sexual details, but the defendant claims there never was a sexual encounter and that becomes his angle for claiming extortion. The only way for the Prosecution to cut that strategy off is to make sure everyone in that room knows for certain there absolutely was a legitimate sexual encounter and not simply dirty pictures and blackmail like you see in the movies. In all honesty, I would have had her describe his physical features to prove she saw him with limited or no clothes. How else can the defendant be seen as lying if he is?

He's accused of wide-ranging criminal conduct before, during and after his presidency. Real crimes, not fake ones, courtesy of the Justice Department, not Dems. If you commit crimes, expect to be charged even if you are a presidential candidate. The Dems aren't panicking, far from it. They've had many more election wins than Republicans in the past year or so. Five smiley emojis? They don't help your argument.

Since the defense is attacking her credibility, it should be allowed for her to give all details that corroborate the authenticity of her experience. How can they say it's a mistrial for her to give the specific details that demonstrate that her testimony is factual?

I was thinking the same thing. It is the wealth of detail that gives her credibility. Unfortunately, the details may be lurid because of the type of encounter they had! A great quote I heard once: "ministers and librarians are seldom witnesses at criminal trials." In other words, it is usually folks with shady backgrounds who have the information about crimes.

Objection: irrelevance. The sexual acts have nothing to prove in regards to the components of the crime, which was financial nondisclosure. This is a political hit-piece and introducing testimony of sex acts was part of the show. And if you find the accounts of those acts depraved, just remember Stormy did everything willingly, and got paid for it.
