Why should I have to pay for such a system just because there are a few assholes who want to kill their children and make it look like an accident?

There are legal problems with that. People will depend on this system to work every time they leave their kids in the car. If the system doesn't work properly and injures/ kills the child, the car company will get sued and most likely have to recall all cars with this feature. That's why car companies are hesitant to put these features in cars.

Most if not all US car makers didn't (still?) even bother to use safer electric window switches i.e. push switch down for window down, and auto stop a window when the window hits an obstruction (a child's head or neck!) because it cost a few pennies per window per car. I can't see them adding all this super expensive technology for kids left in hot cars if they won't spend a few cents for more common problems.

The quality of this video is not as good as the others. But I love the video!
This chap is the first American of non-Italian descent that pronounces Lamborghini properly, instead of [Læmbə'jini].
Make a kid/pet mode... Install a hydralic pusher into the door on the drivers side of the vechical... And then... The car will keep open the door and an alarm on your phone together with an beep will alarm you ;)
is there any way to only subscribe to cnet on cars and not to the cnet main channel?

It's not a good idea to leave kids in cars whether you can keep the car cool, or not. But with that said, some cars have a solar sunroof that will run the blower motor if you leave it in the sun.
why dont put as radar in your car. I have 2 cabrios with build in radar so when i leave the car with the roof down and people lean into my car, the Alarm goes of...

Because not everyone has a cabriolet?
This has always bugged me, at 0:27 is he saying "Ugly is included at no extra cost"? or I am mishearing it as "ugly".
i leave my kids in the car but i dont 4get them. i love them, they are not accidents. i would never forget then
How is this age restricted

Am I the only one that noticed they didn't stop at the stop sign.
Still can't get over the fact that this $450,000+ Lamborghini has an old Audi system as it's centre console tho.

+N.C. You should see the centre console land rover used in the range rover up until last year. Try's to cram far too much into confusing menus within sub menus which are already in sub menus whilst using a screen which takes ten years to work out you pressed the screen... Thankfully they have improved it though.
Drive by wire is cool, but if your battery dies, you're seriously screwed.

I think there's a backup for the vital things like breaking and steering
"Kind of like that brother that brings a different girlfriend to every family gathering, and doesn't really care what you think" hahaha!
Leaving your pet or child without even knowing? You must have to be the dopiest parent or pet owner ever... somehow you remember your phone but not your own child

can't afford a lamb yrt but a mustang gt and that's about faster than 90 percent than most cars on the road.
I'm appalled to think people are less likely to forget their briefcase than their child. Wow.
Driving by wire is OK but it is just not necessary. I used to own a Honda civic with had terrible throttle respons.
