one time i had 5 teammates on easy rusher and we were versing 1 brutal steamroller aliens dont remember the type but all my teammates died and i was there left to kill the scrin base that hasnt been damaged at all but then like 5 minutes later my base got swarmed but i fought them off. that caused my 7 rocket squads to be heroic rank i had black hands purifiers and things then i turned the tables and beat the scrin gg!

Its veeery easy 2vs 1 on this map, especially against reper and black hand... years before i was winning 1 vs 5 against brutal reapers or black hand with ease on certain maps, but there are maps where it was rediciously insane on 1 vs 1 with brutal...

the strategy is to hold them until they are running out of resources

Definitely. They annihilate everything. I know I crutch on them too much when I get the itch for hard campaign runs or brutal challenges. Slow and steady but with that range and stealth, its pretty easy to blow through defenses. Only difference is that I'm forced to play on XBONE, not PC. As soon as I'm able to get a gaming PC, this is my first buy. 50 unit cap is a pain in the ass (as well as a slight extra edge of strategy) because of having to be aware of unit compositions. Drives me nuts when I'm playing straight defense that I cant leave a lot of units garrisoned for defense if my forces are elsewhere without sacrificing offensive forces. Is what it is. Rather deal with that than not be able to play at all. Ha. Great vids man. Been watching a lot of yours. Subbed for sure. Thanks for reply brother.

+MaD_Animal TGN Partner Umm, I'm right there with you, got them first day both pc and console for the different modes, became addicted to the lore and now play ONLY Nod because Kane's the fucking messiah. I know exactly what you're talking about in the pvp aspect too. BUT, when it comes to brutal AI, your entire list of videos of you killing brutals is on this ONE stage alone. If you think pvp is harder on any stage, then surely you could pop 2 brutals on a more open map. Kids have been burning this map for years, do something better than this self advantage beginner stage since you're such a pro. If you're posting it on KZread, it's obvious you want to impress us, so do it. There was no reason for you to get rude with me over a suggestion.

The most effective way of beating scrin is with Nod and with fire. Arm your redeemer with 2 flamethrowers use stealth field that masks all units in the area, build venoms and just walk in to the base. Set the command to attack everything when. Just walk with your redeemer and let the fire do its job. While stealthed you can use your disruption beam with your redeemer and focus their buildings. Also use your stealth units to invade enemy base with your gliders, deploy a becon and use specters to bomb their harvest factories. Also u don't need that much of defence as you builded, use your vehicle factory and deploy your reckoners just barely inside of the repairing circle. The reckoners will be automatically self repaired and u save time, money and energy that u can use for other stuff. Also don't build vertigo bombers, they are not worth the money, better build specters and bomb from afar with the help of a becon. Also when you start you should build 1 crane, 2 harversting factories and shut them down after they are completed, that way your harvesters will collect tiberium while you build 2 power plants. You probably already know this by now. Hope it helped.

yes, i think we all have different strategic ways of thinking. But, I wouldn't focus so much on defensive structures either. I'm not sure what Brutal-AI he is playing against. But, if you play against a Balanced Brutal-AI, they will run you over eventually (again depends on the map). And like illya mentioned, flamethrowers inside redeemer is the way to go. You could also make the Avatars carry flame by destroying your own "Vehicle-flamethrowers"(forgot their name :D..) with the Avatars. And I'm not sure if you know this, but I have noticed in some of your videos, you don't seem to pick up the enemy tripods or avatars that come to your base and die. This way you get to have more units in quick time. It's almost like a freebie, and you can start sending your ground units to their base for a showdown with their units. There is nothing better than a thrilling battle. IMO, your a full-time defensive player from what I have seen. Soon you should start engaging in battles outside the base. I played this game in 2011-2012 with buddies in LAN connection, damn lost all my demos because I never thought I would look back at it :(.. lol ! :D..

Nevermind, they were Balanced Brutal-AI.. AI didn't play like balanced :D.. Usually they build fast and also stack units in big numbers. Maybe in a different map, would have been different.

This was one of my favourite games on Xbox 360 way back when. Got 1000 gamer score and was a beast in multiplayer. Base building or rushing with a shit load of tanks using nod pretty much wiped the floor with most.

You just funneled them in lol. Simple on paper to everyone but realistically it's somewhat difficult because you have to be fast and know what you have to build and not waste a single second because those are brutal A.I lol. Nice job man

MaD_Animal I can't play this game as fast because I only have it on xbox 360 lol. I have Xbox one,PS4 Wii U,Nintendo Switch,Ps4 and so on but I haven' come around to gettig a PC yet. I have a build in mind but I don't know how to build a PC!😂😂 Wish me luck,I'm trying to get a 1080 ti. Hopefully even a double 1080 ti setup if I figure out how to build that SLI split or whatever it's called for that double setup😂

Scrin traveler 59 reaper 17 rift generator Nod black hand marked of Kane nuke GDI steel talons ZOCOM ion cannon

I've won this map 1v2 with Black hand vs 2 brutal reaper-17s. Black hand's purifying flames is really efficient vs reaper 17 units. I also won with zocom's zone shatterers and marv vs 2 brutal black hands. Mass shatterers are really good against ground units. I think I can also win with gdi shatterers. I want to try doing an epic mothership/prodigy combo with traveller-59 against 2 brutal ais on this map but I haven't found a good traveller-59 turtling strat yet. Actually, even a mothership/mastermind combo with regular scrin would be nice to see.

Nice, but sloppy. Don't allow them the EMP or the spikes. This could have been over much sooner. Also try as Black Hand: much more fun using Purifiers with blue (purifying) flame upgrade. six is enough to walk over any base on aggressive mode with support from two or three anti air. Plus you get particle beam which is a whole new dimension in bringing down tripods using militia only.

Would you be able to do this with the regular scrin? cause I have tried but those warships make it dam near impossible. The best technique I found was to fortify the front with as many obelisk's and shredder turrets as I can, than from there on just spam Venom's. Best way to counter their ships, still lost but it was the best I could do :P

Honestly, it shouldn't matter what you play against. Playing top against 2 brutal is pretty easy on this map... I've even Flame-Tank -Engie rushed both within 8-12 minutes before

can you do a 1v1 against Reaper-17 on an even map? I mean a map in which you don't have blue tiberium fields at the very start and only one way for the enemy to attack? I'm trying to defeat Reaper-17 Brutal AI but it's god damn impossible. I tried on some 4 player and 6 player maps as GDI. Any tips are appreciated.

i think scrin is more dangerous than Reaper-17 and black hand. that's why a lot of players choose them as enemy because they don't have air force. when they don't have money. you can destroy their basies easly.

The only ones who have unfair advantage here is the ai. This is the easiest map to play. You have the sweet spot here with a choke point and two resource points plus 40k starting cash. You might as well play against easy ai because it’s the same thing here. That and they’re scrin which are the weakest of the three. It also only takes about 15 minutes for the ai to run low on resources anyway then after that it’s just a cleanup job after you mass up an army, it’s like that with every c&c game. For a bit of a challenge try a 1v7 on an even map with all brutal, it’s still not too bad but it’s a lot more fun!

right do you know anything about the game so brutal ai start with 80k and there speed it like x8 faster then a easy ai and as for the 1vs7 i have done them but the game was not made for it so you get loadz of lag all i can see it you hating because i have 100k views on a ai videos lol grow up and i play for the fun

That map gave you an OP advantage big time. I'm not really impressed :/

@@MaDAnimal Even I don't give a fuck SliP!. I just got my ass kicked on final mission of Tiberan Sun NOD on hard. I play this game for the lore. I LOVE the lore. I'm a real fan and I want that T-shirt @Divshadow 3 has. However it's been the 8th time ore more i've been playing Tiberian Sun and Firestorm addon on hard missions, and it's been a great while since I played. So of all 26 missions combined, this is the first one I've failed on. Im not proud. I hate it. But with a beer in my hand, watching time and knowing Ig2g2 bed because children wake up in 4 hours, I looked for "A new beginning" walkthrough, and next video was THIS video. I Ended up getting another 2 beers and really enjoying this video. This @MaD_Animal Show! This even encouraged me to play this game again also, the missions, after I finish Firestorm. Thnx again for all the nostalgia @MaD_Animal Show!!!

Balanced seems to be weakest of brutals, my favorite is steamroller GDI AI.

there are AI Personalities are new to CnC, and many may not know what the difference is, but there is a noticeable difference between personalities which I'll explain. Balanced AI - Your normal AI that mixes defense, expanding bases, and assaults equally. Quite challenging and will fight until the bitter end. Medium Base defenses. Turtle AI - An AI that will focus on fortifying its base and will also expand quickly to fortify those positions as well, while building a massive army in their base. Turtles can be difficult if not taken out quickly, as their assaults are huge and ultimately deadly. Heavy Base defenses. Rusher AI - This AI will send in low tier units in very early in battle and continue with low tier assaults, eventually sending in tougher high tier units. Rushers tend to use their resources to build quick light assaults to batter your base down to size. Little Base defenses. Geurilla AI - The adaptable AI, Geurilla AI will send in low tier suicide assaults to figure out your bases units and defenses, and will build accordingly to defeat it. Sometimes in their suicide runs, they'll sneak an Engineer to capture your buildings and use your technology against you. Geurilla AI is the most challenging for Single Play and is a dangerous foe to battle. Medium Base defenses. Steamroller AI - Steamroller AI will always either send in constant assaults or low and high tier units, or will quickly basebuild up to their superweapon to send in high tier units very early in game. If you don't take this AI out quickly, you'll find yourself in a frantic defense against large amounts of high tier units and getting blasted by their superweapons. Little Base defenses

This is just plugging a choke point with defences and arty. It’s a whole different ball game when chokepoints are absent

well its not totally unfair advantage since you took the spot one the top of the map which is very easy to defend, you are open to only one way of attack

The One who Knows it all allthouhg i would take time to garrison all of those unused building and build a massive airforce and a nuke in a meantime
