I would have probably went with a spiral move so you could keep the tool engaged and conventional cut method, but It looks like it going to be gorgeous.

Logan Rose Thank, it has been awhile since I cut a bowl, but have been cutting 3d mountains lately. I have learned a lot more about tool paths in 3d!

Tzun Tzun Hsue I used a .25" ball nose, just because I had a cheap one laying around. If I was to do it over I would go with a .5" tapered ball nose.

Ball nose end mill, also look into tapered ballnose 🙂

Kyle James man so sorry for not getting to this a year ago. I used Cut 3/D by Vectric it is affordable but not great.

Some cheap ball bit from home Depot. I recommend looking on Amazon for a "tapered ball nose bit "
