what this does show is the risk associated with entering your wifi password to a guests device. Enable a temporary guest network instead. Simple but effective.

A ways you can use this technique is to get a reverse shell back from an exploit and then using that pc as a pivot to laterally move to an intranet pc. You can then bring that pc online by connecting to wifi and then use it as your entry point instead. i mean, it didn't say "hack wifi password" in the title or anything. + like others said you have to use a brute forcing tool just to get the wifi password without even connecting. This is good if you are using school wifi or someone else internet.

There is no way, btw. You need to open up browser, connect to your router adress and change it there

Why not just go into adapter properties and show password there? Much easier than having to memorise commands

Si el admin bloqueo el mostrar contraseña con clave, no sirve de mucho, pero en pcs sin bloqueo sirve 100%

Note: ain't going to work if your not previously connected to that specific wi-fi network. (just in case your bunging your head for it)

did you opened the cmd as administrator?if you didnt it wont work it worked for me but credit goes fr the owner of the video

Unfortunately this did not help me I can not access cmd while it is being ran as administrator but I am sure that this is a great video on finding out a lost password for at home wifi

My problem is that the wifi does not show up in the profile but shows up in the list of available wifi . Is there something else that I can type in dos that will show it there?

This worked for me: 1) List all wireless network profiles: netsh wlan show profiles (note s at the end of profiles) 2) Show key for specific profile : netsh wlan show profile name="Profile_Name" key=clear (this time it's profile without s).
