In question 12, isn’t sale of equipment considered a sale of a fixed asset that should impact investing activities?

Total amount collected by sale of Fixed asset is surely an investing inflow. But please note, any gain or loss on disposal of Fixed asset is included in net income. So that gain or loss needs to be excluded from net income. Loss is added, gain is deducted.

7:24 sir what is different between suppliers and creditors.. as per know they both are one and same.. but payment concern may be different like if make payment immediately they are your suppliers and if they is credit periods involved in making payments then it's Creditors right.. correct me if I am working .. We find Gleim to be the best. Have been using it for over 13 years. Works well with with mentor. Becker/Hock is good for self study.

Sir, in Question 24, Securities purchased at 100K sold at 125K. So there is gain on sale of securities for $25K. Why isnt this adjusted in operating activities?

You are right. Gain should be deducted. So the idea here in this question was to show three categories of cash flows. Ideally the correct answer should be 75,000

I defaulted to an “C” because the gain on sale of an equivalent (asset) is part of investing actives not operating activities. To me it is cash received from investing actives not operating activities as the organization is not in the business of selling equipment.
