@@glorbog i think maybe the production crew screwed up. what i believe was supposed to happen, was the refs count was maybe supposed to get interrupted by Drews music. and maybe he would be running in. but they accidentally didnt play the music during the count. so the ref had to just improvise and Damian didnt react in time cuz he thought music would hit at 2 count, so it was a single second to react to anything. and then Drew probably improvised and did a troll-walk to the ring instead of running since there wasnt urgency anymore.

It's too early for Carmelo Hayes to be in the World title picture. Chad Gable might not even be AROUND anymore if the Wyatt Sicks have their way. Jey Uso more than likely will be reuniting with Roman when he comes back, which would be "interesting" if he had the MITB briefcase, but they need to be united against Solo's Bloodline. LA Knight is destined to dethrone Logan Paul for the US Title, and Andrade is no World Champion material. Fair enough, Jey Uso winning the MITB would really would have been an intriguing story line, but I don't think that is the direction they want to go. So, there really was no point to anyone winning the MITB contract but Drew and him being so blinded by selfish ambitious and rage, it is poetic justice that every time he tries to level up, the consequences of his actions catch up with him. You reap what you sow, more than you sow, later than you sow. There was NOTHING wrong with what was done tonight. This is how experts book story lines long term. Drew vs Punk is the hottest angle in all of professional wrestling right now.............and they haven't even wrestled ONE MATCH yet. Think about it......

I think Drew missed his cue or the person on the soundboard missed the cue to send him out there at the right time. What was probably supposed to happen was his music was supposed to come on during the count to startle the referee and interrupt the count. I don't think he was supposed to come out before the count because that would be way too early.
