In the depths of the Cold War, then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover ordered his agents to undertake a new mission: Identify every gay and suspected gay working for the federal government. But Hoover had something on every person of power in the U.S. That's why he wasn't criticized too much.

Who did J. Edgar Hoover know to get appointed the Director of the F.B.I. at age 29 in 1924? Of course, the F.B.I. was a small, unarmed, investigative unit of the Dept. of Justice, then! But, I think even J. Edgar would be astounded at how large his little band of investigators has grown, since his death! p.s In the then, "homophobic". early 20th Century, it's pretty hard to believe that the actual Hoover/Tolson relationship could have stayed secret for 40 years!

Didn't see anything shocking or scandalous in this video other than your unsupported implied allegations that Hoover and Tolson were "intimate". Doesn't seem to have led a double life either. Just saying Hoover had a good friend and confidant he worked with for years is not enough to appease your desire for sleaze. You do realize you said facts in the opening right? To this day there is NO actual evidence that Hoover was a Homosexual or that he cross dressed, yet you still see people talking about it like it is, (to your credit I did notice that you didn't even bring up the cross-dressing story, a bit of revenge story telling from one source with an axe to grind). Understand this that there is more evidence about Obama being involved in such things than Hoover, but few are allowed to openly discuss that.

You are correct. There is absolutely zero evidence that the two were romantically involved in any way. It seems much more likely that each was asexual, and that their relationship was a deep friendship. Hoover's relationship with Lela Rogers during WW2 "may" have been romantic. Since Hoover never married or had children, his leaving his Estate to Tolson makes sense.
