The handbrake, just open the 4 bolds and swing the hole drum to the side, safes many work 😇 good video

Great upload, It's strange that you carn't fit the upgraded slave cylinder with a new clutch. I waited 6 months before i fitted mine and what a difference it makes, i couldn't manage to fit the upgraded spring though. no matter how hard i tried..

I agree, it is very weird, as if the new clutch is supposed to be thicker or something. Anyways, if I would've known it would've saved me a lot of time 😅 Hope you'll get it to work some day...

Thank you for the presentation and Greetings from Paris ! I have a defender TD5 year 2003. If I up-shift quickly with high RPM from 1st to 2d, or 2d to 3d, I feel a crunch/grind in my hand (not so loud to hear it in the vehicle, I can just feel it with my hand). If I leave the RPM/rev normal, and leave a 1 second pause on Neutral between these gears, all is fine. No crunch when downshifting. The gearbox runs with new MTF94 oil. Is this a normal behavior for a R380 ? Are we supposed to UP shift slowly with these gearboxes, losing momentum ? Losing momentum is not an issue on flat road, but annoying climbing a slope. Excellent video, when I did my clutch, I think I disconnected the handbrake cable from the lever, as I don't recall removing the shoes?

When you put the flywheel on do you not have to put it on in a specific location ask the crank postion sensor need to read the engine postion?

No it isn't necessary as it doesn't read the crank position off the flywheel👌🏼

So, end to end, with all the problems you had, how long did it take you?

As a first time job it took me 24 labour hours. I'd guess with the experience I'd have it done in about 15-16 next time.

Three bolts (not two) for the starter, the top one being a pig.
