Why wasn't David asked if by his logic does that not make celtic a new club and their history lost after Fergus in 94 and then again in 2001 as both holding company's were closed down and we company's opened and assets transfered. The only difference is 1 club's company was liquidated whilst the other club's holding company was voluntarily closed down.

re Europe: Rangers did not play in Europe in 2012 due to the company running the club still being in administration at the UEFA registration deadline at the end of March 2012. The football club was then purchased in May 2012. Players were allowed to walk due to the company being in administration and contract law stating they could do so. It’s the same for most businesses, outside the public sector, in similar circumstances. Doesn’t mean that the club ceases to exist!
