Jane Child...she played all the instruments on the album, she produced it, she wrote it, she sang it...she had such style. I love it when someone with so much musical talent makes it.

You didn't live in the 90s if you thought no one was violent lmao. MUCH more violent than today. Back then, people would start fights over the slightest things, like looking at someone the wrong way, or talking to their girlfriend. Club shootings happened all the time, security was lax, there were no cameras everywhere so people felt emboldened because they might not get caught. And you better not even look the slightest bit gay, you think its bad today, back then gaybashing was socially acceptable even against people who weren't even gay but dressed differently. Kids today have no fucking clue what the 90s were like. IF you don't believe me, look at the violent crime statistics from today and back then.

Well then there's a highly contagious virus spreading around the world making people sick, social distancing is a necessary public measure. But there was social distancing in the old days. You don't remember? They used to segregate black and whites because of skin color. They used to socially distance and outcast (and kill) people who had HIV/AIDS, and people who had illnesses and conditions that so much hysteria and stigma attached to them.

But HIV pandemic started in 1981 and continued through the 80s and 90s, and had it worse. Even though the disease wasn't transferable except through bodily fluids, patients were subjected to mass hysteria, ostracized, humiliated, discriminated against, and had terrible deaths, dropping like flies. Covid deniers, truthers are so fragile, ridiculous, unhinged and ignorant
