Nothing better than getting paid on a Thursday and dancing the the whole weekend still doing now and nearly 50

I remember being a little girl and loving rave music but not knowing what it even was. All I knew is if I stay up until about 2am, then the best music I EVER heard would come on the radio and I had to stay up so I could record it on a tape. I was like... 7 or 8. I ended up with the COOLEST mix tape of music my friends had never heard.

Being there after the casual days, through the early rave in a field days to clubs, seeing the prodigy before they took off, through hardcore, trance then into house. Has to be my favourite times of all. Minced on a dance floor just shaking our asses to these tunes. I remember just being in that moment, have to say it seemed to take your mind away, loved everyone. Some fantastic friends amazing memories. So strange my children think they have been the first to go clubbing. If they only knew the truth 😉

90s house was the best out of everything

Oi Oi!!!! Bouncing round my kitchen likes it's 2005 again, Cafe de Paris, Happy Jacks, Chunnel Club, SW1, Satellite, 414......too many great clubs to mention. If you were lucky enough to be there, then like me you experienced something truly amazing. Good bless house music.........great set.

In the 90's the music sounded better than it does now to be honest. But that's because sound recordingsystems were partly analogue maybe compared to now with autotune and such. At the other hand, you sense more "soul" in the music compared to the perfect songs nowadays. The world was more friendly and happy back then as I remember it. No ISIS, no terror attacks all over Europe (at least not so frequent...besides IRA attacks and so on in the UK). I am getting old lol.....

1994 My 18th was in Yell Leeds 20th Mint Club Leeds, 21st Casalocos Leeds, (where my sister had a set, Little Miss Vikki DJ , she's only 5ft 1inch tall) 😂 Music & dancing the reason for the nights out in various establishments all over the country, But The Warehouse & Glasshouse Leeds & Stinkys all dayer, my absolute favourite ... The star attraction was the Dance floor & it's best friend The Amazing Music, namely 90s Music. The centre piece of everyone's night out, like a sea of waves, all the clubbers, in synchronisation to the fukin banging tunes back to back, DJs using vinyl, moves busted, eyes as wide as the smiles on the faces of the happy peeps, and not a smart phone in sight 😆😍😘😎 BTW , the mix has some excellent tunes on took me back 👍👍
