Speaking as a little old lady, I agree with giving women more time off at work. I agree with making women in the work force not worth hiring. It's actually a great first step in getting women out of the work force and back into the home!

the woman on the same flight happened to me in 2000. I took off from work saying I was going to my sisters funeral- 3000 miles in the opposite direction, and lo and behold halfway down we went to a pub there that knew my damn boss. Even with pictures of her wedding that I had 3 years before this with me not in it... I maintained my job to witness the ball drop on new years eve 1999 dead center of the French Quarter, because F your job- this was HISTORY and a pact I made with my friends back then we would all meet at the Hard Rock Cafe and we did... you can find another job and boss- you cant find another memory or friends you grew up with.

Two comments here; Myself a female co-worker and my supervisor once all called in sick from our hospital technician job so we could take a road trip to an extremely remote beach in New Zealand. When I say remote, I'm talking several hours drive, 20 miles from the nearest farmhouse let alone town. This particular stretch of beach might be one of the most remote, desolate, obscure beaches on earth. Nobody goes there, most people don't know it exists. So we arrive and start fishing, and then we spot another person driving past, which was unusual in itself. Then to our horror we see it's the team leader of the operating theater - a boss adjacent to ours, and a guy we interact with a hundred times a day. For some reason he was there at the exact same time and place. We all pulled our hats over our faces and hoped he hadn't seen us as we took off to the other end of the beach.... Second thing; I have no problem with extra leave for menstruation. My partner has polycystic ovary disease & finds it difficult to get a job because she needs a couple of days off a month for the pain. I know for most women it's more minor than that, but I still would rather acknowledge the differences between us and not have them coming to work all grumpy. Perhaps if it's voluntary unpaid leave, rather than the suggestion in the video, then if they don't need it they don't have to take it. Fine. But you know that if they did get leave for this, and reduced income as a result, they would turn around as use it as another example of the gender pay gap, so you really can't win. But yeah, women have periods and menopause to deal with, why not make allowance for it at their expense? As long as it doesn't disadvantage men I'm ok with it. It just means less women are getting hired (like my wife).

Why would I want off when wife on the rag......oh wait, she's old, does she still get time off......do I still get time off.......or is this going to have built-in age discrimination People can't take the time to help man stuck under car, butt they can take the time to rob him...... shameful
