Thank you for the great info in your video. I just got one of these devices yesterday. I hate reading instruction manuals so I am finding your video so helpful

I bought one of these for a family member after seeing this video. He likes it and can now read things he couldn't read before. Non-digital magnifying devices were not enough, and I was hesitant about buying a digital magnifier that had poor magnification. The Clover 6 works very well for him. I received excellent support from Palmer Vision, from whom I bought the device, after I asked them a question about shipping. Much thanks to The Blind Life, Palmer Vision, and of course the manufacturer.

I really love this device. I have albinism which affects my vision and I use it to zoom up on the smart board whenever we do notes

This is a vastly improved product over the previous devices in the same category as well as brand

Another amazing tool.....out priced for us on soc sec. Technology is wonderful for the rich. I use my cell phone camera and enlarge lol.

Sam you are my newest hero! I have MD and I'm in my late 70s. With this or the pro version I can read the many books I have on my book shelves, Or have them read to me!!! I'm so grateful I live in an age with all this wonderful technology that makes blind life so much better! THANK YOU!! One question. What is the length of battery time on this and the pro?

That’s fantastic! I’m not sure about battery life, I would assume between two and four hours continuous use. If you want to get an exact number though, I would recommend reaching out to one of the distributors. They would definitely know how long it is.

Sam I think your favorite feature of the Looky is the bag, "it is so soft"

Hi Sam, My main issue with this device is the same as with most other devices. Ask a permanently disable person with no job, and a fixed income from the state of California, I am very limited on the amount of money that I can spend. If we had a device like this That was much less expensive, but more functional, that would be REALLY GIID :!

Have you worked with your state vocational resources? Also there are several nonprofits that work with manufacturers and vendors of these types of products. Hello! your channel is very good. I want to find solutions for my mother who has macular degeneration. I'm looking at your reviews of digital magnifiers. I love them. I don't know why I had seen the Eschenbach Visolux Digital HD on Amazon, but I didn't see you do a review of this brand. Do you recommend them? I still see that there are many very good options. Thank you!

This device looks fantastic and I no I would use it, but not for $795.

This looks awesome. The video magnifier I tried at my low vision center only went up to 9x i think which was great but 32x... my goodness lol.

I like this but I will have to say that it would be nice if there were a few additional features for this device? * It would be nice if you could connect this device wirelessly to your computer or your TV etc and use it as a CCTV? * It would be nice if you could not only blank out the different color filters but download different ones that would help you and if you at the same time could create your own custom color filter this would be so helpful? * If this device could connect to AI such as Seeing AI etc / Be My Eyes / Aira services this would be a helpful feature? * It would be nice if there was an option for either a lanyard or wrist carrying strap feature not only for the case but the device itself? * OUCH the Price is way too high??? I like this device but the price is very high and 50.00 dollars is a high chunk of my very low income that I barely get.

A all possible that it is extremelyll these devices for people with sight loss are absolutely fantastic but unfortunately for me they are very much out of my price range I cannot possibly pay 595 British pounds for this device. I personally use my large ipad and I managed to pick up a used Optelec Clearview +it is not at all portable but it is extremely useful. For everyday use if I am out and about I use my phone with the Envision AI app and I am now all set, I couldn't possibly afford to pay for these items as I was medically retired due to my very limited vision at the tender age of 52

Hi there. I am so sorry for your vision loss at your age. It isn't fair. My dad is 78 and was diagnosed with macular degeneration 3 years ago. I love my dad dearly and have searched tirelessly for low vision optics that may help him at least read his beloved newspaper again! I read in your comment you purchased the Optelec Clearview+. May I ask your personal opinion on that one? I have researched it a little and thought of getting one, but then I ran across a video review of it on YT and the person was throwing off on it...to each their own but just thought I would get your opinion please. Sam how do you feel this stacks up against the Ruby XL HD?

i am a person with almost 10 percent vision i didnot know it existed till now i am poor and from pakistan so is there a way to get it through a NGO or some Organization

I have a looked 6 since 2021 it’s my go to device but now the battery only lasts a short time before I have to charge it. Also now the screen is locked with colored bars across it . Any ideas ?

It seems to have a boatload of features I wouldn't have expected in a hand-held magnifier. (I guess I'm just behind the times.) It makes me wonder, though, how often you have to recharge the battery. Also how long before the battery dies for good and has to be replaced. If I thought this kind of device were worth $800 to me (which I currently don't), those are some questions I'd try to remember to ask the salesman.

With our testing the battery last around four hours depending on the brightness setting you use. Dollar for dollar and feature for feature we have compared all these devices and find this one to be the best. If you’d like to discuss it please contact us

I bought a looks 6 a few months ago for over $700 , too expensive for this device, it has a very short battery life for one thing it won’t last through the day with me just using it interesting ly , I spend a lot of time waiting for it to focus with or with out auto focus. I have a smaller much older much cheaper one I find my self using in place of looks 6 , it’s always focused and the battery last a long time . I have AMD and depend on magnifiers .

Hi Sam, is this still your favorite? I'm trying to find something to help give my Daddy some independence while shopping. Diabetes has destroyed his eyes. He can't see the signs on isles in grocery store or prices and if he gets to far away he can't find me.

This is a good one, but there is a new 5 inch digital magnifier coming out soon that works just as well and is cheaper. It’s called the true zoom and it’s sold by Palmer vision.

Sir is there any app which can read pdfs onnandroid phone or ipad mini for me. I am a low vision but till date I have been living life like a normal person and haven't used even talk back to operate my phone. I am not use to using any assistance so far.
