They are so precious! I don't understand ship wars. It's just like it is... Aerith for Zack (which is really true love i believe in it wholeheartedly and love them together so much) and Tifa for Cloud...they have known each other for a LONG time. And this thing that Cloud don't remember Zack and just think Zack's memories was HIS...he is pretend to be another person (Zack) and i'm just questioning his feelings for Aerith in the beggining you know... like it isn't actually his feelings...i don't know...

Don't get me wrong, I also love this cloud and tifa ship while aerith with zack but may I correct some part about this cloud has Zack's memories. The truth is, he don't have his memories. Like inherit or any other words you want to use. You may want to say "then why does he replace Zack's place during his flashback in nibelheim?" I believe he replace Zack's place in those flashback because why it's true cloud doesn't remember him, he admired his friend for how strong, courageous and cool he is just like how he admire Sephiroth's heroic achievement. Thus, he replaced Zack's position to his just like how the setting of his 'cool' personality (because poor boy tryin his best to be like Zack). Now for the other part I would like to say is, if cloud DID has Zack's memories, why he don't recognize or know aerith when they met for the first time? He should know her already by that point. And may I remind you again, only Zack existence that has been wiped out from cloud's memories. Not tifa, not sephiroth and not aerith. Oh. I don't mean to write this in a bad way. Just as I said earlier, I also ship cloud and tifa so freaking hard as I also a fellow fan who play original long ago. But I don't like to play this game just only for the shipping and focus on it. And when it comes to cloud's relationship, I believe as a fan, we need to first take a look what their own staff talk about cloud's relationship between tifa and aerith. Not just give a reason based on our own assumption because some people may. I say this again, some people *may* turn the fact left and right for their own satisfaction which will lead up to other people's confusion and hate for those opposite shippers which they will also some may gave not so true fact and then once again lead to- yes, the ship wars. It's troublesome indeed... Ah yes, about cloud's relationship with tifa and aerith, if I'm not mistaken with my memories, cloud actually kinda have a feeling toward both of them. You may think of it like this, in the earlier of the story (during his childhood) he has a feeling for tifa and want to become a soldier so that tifa notice him (aka notice me senpai). FYI, they may know each other since they are young but they are not 'close'. After he's gone that tifa start to care and think about him. While for aerith, he has a feeling for aerith a while after they met. Welp, knowing aerith the kind of bubbly girl that no one can hate her. But! Who you want cloud to show his affection more is up to you, dear player. Even from the original, the game already put the setting to let the player decide who you want to favor more. Some might say something like cloud moment with aerith are more serious. They are not wrong. It is serious. But in my case, I take it as serious because aerith is a main heroine. She play a big role in the story. I really wish those shippers put more care about her role aside about this shipping personally lol. But ofc, dear tifa also a main heroine in this game. In original game, yes, maybe the game focus on aerith more compared to tifa but now in the remake they said it officially themself that they both are the main heroine. They can't take that word now aren't they? Hehehe (gosh, my mischievous side). Tifa play a big role in fixing cloud's memories and support him. She's been supporting him since he left nibelheim and I remember I start love her after the scene during they fix together cloud's memories, and it shows in the flashback that after tifa met cloud again after 7 years at the station, she decide to invite him to avalanche to watch out for him and support him after she saw him changed because she's worried for him. And also the part that her design may describe her as "strong" and "24 hours optimistic gal" but on the inside, she still a woman. A weak woman who cried, who care and who love. May I add that I actually kinda hate those who love tifa just because of the sexy look. Like, come on!! Understand the character! Not the look! Oh dear, I kinda favoring tifa there. Welp, that conclude my share of knowledge. Forgive for any rudeness and any bad grammar because English is not my mother language.

For me Aerith is a symbol of what Cloud would have wanted with his relationship with Tifa. Unlike Tifa Aerith is a bit upfront and a bit flirty. A damsel in distress kinda thing. She (Aerith) needed him (unlike Tifa who can actually fight and very independent) Just like Zach is the symbol of what he wanted to become Aerith is the symbol of what he wanted with his relationship with Tifa. But again just like how you said its not real and we look deep inside his heart. This poor guy seriously (if only you have confessed from the start 😅🤣) he’s hopelessly in love with Tifa

@@thetriplerhyme aerith was looking into cloud for zack while cloud was looking into aerith for tifa. this two. she saves him, he saves her, round and round it goes. they're like partners in crime. super glad aerith is self aware and pushing tifa to be soldier cloud's damsel in distress (because that's where his affections really should lie lol, plus aerith wasn't exactly being her real self in OG either. she was coping too). Now aerith inst running away from what she feels about zack, that's why she doesn't use cloud as a rebound no more (she's even befriending him with her CC attitude lol, closer to her real self, she's doing exactly what she wished to do in OG before she died, to get to know cloud for real. I saw that as platonic lol than romantic. like aerith's senses are catching up to this illusion they made to cope with their own respective pains, glad to see their wholesome friendship is blossoming in remake) and befriends tifa "better" now.

Whoever put that one dislike is an aerith x cloud shipper
