    Will it last for 3 years worth of washing though? Bear in mind how filthy children from 1 to 3 can get clothing sometimes in just a few hours of wear. I think it's awesome to see art and geometry meet to try and simplify real life issues, I just wonder how practical this really is or if it's more just a gimmick.

  • @arthurbiddle4201

    @arthurbiddle4201

    @@butt.whytho I agree with that. This is very similar to an artist I recently learned about and I'm so frustrated I can remember his name. Anyways he is half paper folding artist and half engineer/sciencetest and he combines the two to make these jaw dropping geometrical things of pure beauty. But his more recent stuff involves using material that has fold memory and at a resting state the whole thing is collapses on itself so it just looks like a stack of paper no thicker than a magazine but when it's opened up it opens onto these really big geometric "sculpters". Engineers are studying what he does to learn from his technique which is something completely unique and could lead to ground breaking methods in how we build things. I really wish I could remember the name.

They looked like a tiny little shirt all scrunched up that would fit a baby doll, but they stretched out enormously. They typically had really busy designs on them. Anyway, I got that for her when she was around 2 at a garage sale, and she still wears it today at age 5. Next year, it will probably be handed to her younger sister. Best $1 I ever spent.

A shirt could cost 3-2 dollars and that kid could have it for years. Buying everything in total would still last them longer and itll be cheaper than over a hundred for one piece. Plus they'll probs be made fun of for wearing that to the point where they're too embarassed to put it on.. not like they have a choice since their parents already spent hundreds on that one just one set or clothing that'll last them a whole three years. @@franciscomachado5174 sustainable fashion is against buying 50 outfits that will finish their life in the ocean or a forest. I prefer buying one outfit that can be worn during years than 50 different ones every one to two years. I was consuming only fast fashioned and low priced clothes until I decided to buy less but upgrade in quality 6 years ago. In the end I pay a lot less now with "high end eco friendly" clothes than before with my low priced outfits. Yes I have a only a quarter of the amount of clothes I had before but my clothes are much more comfortable and pleasant to wear now and I'm always well dressed even if I only wear basic pieces.
