Closing A $12,000 SMMA Client * Live Call *

This was my 3rd ever zoom call, so I see a lot of room for improvement. I previously sold through phone calls, however I have signed every zoom-call client so it may be the better way.

The presentation looks like it's been made by a 10-year-old, and you still managed to sign him. That's only proof that making money is a completely own skill you must learn, therefore well done.

Fantastic point to bring up. I’m starting my agency now and your comment made me realise I don’t have to make sure every little thing is perfect. Just make sure it’s a smooth process for the client and that I’m delivering results

This video actually started me on my journey. Absolute props to him but it angered me to see someone with such shit presentation skills, literally rip a template powerpoint from a free online course, do such a half cocked job presenting it and making more than half of what I did when I was 18 for the year. I've relentlessly been upskilling over the last couple of weeks. Just need to get myself up to scratch.

@@k9kingzuk I’m not saying he needs to be a scammy sales person and again - I’m complimenting him and saying that it goes to show that those that put in the work are the ones that get the sales. Don’t want to lecture you but just some advice. Don’t read off the slides With questions get them to say YES. “Do you see how this could work for you?” Instead of “any questions?” Tell about software features after you sign them up “oh we can add a we chat widget to help you convert” Send contract, and have them sign on the call. Send payment link and have them pay on the call. Give more details on the next steps / onboarding process after the close

Some serious value drops in here. I 100% agree. You MUST have contract ready. You MUST have it in front of them so when they verbally say yes that you send it, or you are literally walking through just in case any questions on contract. Get them to sign it, and have the deposits invoice pre-prepped so they sign it on the call.

Great advice. I do have a question. How could you have a contract prepped and ready when some client cases are different and the contract may need to have different information? Would you be working on that during the meeting or is there a simple general contract you can use for all clients that would work for any service you provide? I do website and brand strategy so interested to see if this would work.
A luck was on his side than the actual skill. Also you met a nice, generous and a humble client.
Ah that was horrific. You're terribly slow as if you were being paid by the second. BUT you did it man. Millions of people are prepping and planning for months or even years to get their first client while you just dive in with the little experience you have. You're very brave. Well done mate.

Proud of you G. This gives me motivation to hammer the phone.
Great job, As another young lad starting out in SMMA in australia, this truly is a helpful guide and i feel like I took a lot of value from this video. Thank you mate
Congrats! Many when they see someone doing push ups , they would criticize your form but you are doing the push ups and they re just watching. Well done with time your form will be perfect.
Nailed it! Nice work. This must have been nerve wracking, but you presented valuable info, answered questions and negotiated a shorter term to appease the client. Really great closing call. I’m sure you know this already, but for future calls you might want to include a slide on projected ad spend and either incorporate it into your pricing model OR just show them how much extra they will be spending on Ad spend, alongside your monthly fee.

Congratulations on the well deserved success Phillip! If you don't mind me asking, I was just wondering if you run the ads and close the leads yourself for your clients, or do you outsource the ads? or the appointment setting? Thank you!
Clickbait. This wasn't a $12000 sale, it was a $11991 sale. You could buy 3 protein bars with the difference. In all seriousness, you've given great value here Philip. Thanks.
Great work man, only your third call and you’re very composed. I like it. The only thing I’d say is that your client answers no to many of your questions. If you could frame your questions in a way that would make him instead say yes then he will be in a more yes mindset. Other than that it was great.

Love this unchanged presentation from Max Perzon.
My man’s here using half the content from Max Perzon. However gotta respect the hustle for a last minute presentation you still got the sale over the line. Sometimes it doesn’t need to be pretty it just needs to get the job done.
bro's heart stopped when he said let's go for 3 months HAHA ! btw nice content man, found it really inspiring
Congrats on landing such a big client man! How did you go about getting clients when you didn't have any prior clients before them?
Nice job Philip! I think you should put in some work on the slidedeck though. Some great resources for creating good decks are looking at consultancies such as: BCG, Bain & Co etc. They like to crowd their decks with graphs not to say you need graphs everywhere but I think the text formating they use in slides is very useful. This since they are very action -> result oriented.

Great video bro, I have a question. Is the price of $3,997 for 120 days or the first month?
Hey mate, a bit of advice from a business owner here on the other side of these calls (not to diminish what you are doing, just some simple things to improve on). Close your closet, it isnt a great look especially to an older person when you have your laundry hanging out behind you in view. Reduce your usage of filler words (um, like, uh) it is okay to pause to think and give a clear answer, you dont have to sit there going uh hmm um like to fill in the time while you think. Take off your hat and present yourself as a professional. Dont read directly off of slides line by line, the person on the other end is capable of that, take the key points and use them to promote thought about how they apply to whomevers business you are talking with. Ask affirmative questions, "do you see how this would improve your business?". Just a few little pointers from someone whos been in many board-level meetings and conference calls on both sides of a sales pitch.
Thank you for this video, can you show us the service delivery?
Hey mate) great video) where did u learn how to make an agency and how did u come up to this at such a young age?
