My mom doesn't let me get rid of clothes unless they don't fit anymore or have something wrong with them, and it sucks

Maybe u can put them out of your sight. In a trash bag under the bed maybe? Then you can get rid of clutter and you can see for yourself better what you need and maybe your mom also will understand it.

i just did the same thing with my closet and donated like 2 garbage bags of clothes, it took me like 5 hours but it was so worth it hahaah so happy that you were able to do this too… it’s so satisfying
