It would be so cool if you had a book of all the outfits you created for each stapple piece you have. For instance, this cream trousers I'm sure most of us have a similar one but we might run out of ideas on how to style them differently, having your book would be such a great source of inspiration, I love your style so damn much!!!

I have a request for two types of videos: One talking all about belts, how to tuck stuff into them, how to choose the proper size for around the waist, etc. The other video I desperately need from you is a video about denim. I know you wear trousers mainly but I would love to know how you mix your vintage blouses, vests, etc with your jeans and make that work. 🤍🤍

I just found your channel two days ago, and as someone who has started thrifting, I really appreciate your diverse creative approach and style . I tend to only buy linen, wool, cotton, and silk..., no acetate, rayon, polyester, or other synthetics. And I tend toward European styling. In recent years, all the stores have closed down that were Mecca’s for Italian, French, English, and other beautiful designer clothes at discounted prices. The only stores left were the chain stores and thrift shops. I went into a thrift looking for something specific and was amazed at what was in there, tons of new and designer clothing and shoes, all excellent quality and a very varied selection. Now, I only shop in the good thrift stores. I can buy designer clothing, new with the tags still on them, for a 90-95% discount. And the diversity is incredible, you can find anything and everything. You definitely have your unique style, and you combine items so creatively, I really enjoy seeing how you construct your looks. Very cool. And you look fabulous in every outfit.

This was a great watch! I enjoyed hearing your criteria for spending a bit more on something especially shoes. I find it's much easier to discover your personal style when you give yourself some rules to follow (not restrictions) and ways to edit out the noise when thrifting.

Cozy morning watching this under the comforter. My closet is very minimal but I enjoy watching your videos. I'm a size 10-12 with a bust and booty that sticks out.. so have no luck with skirts/dresses otherwise look like a tent. Typically rotate with a few pairs of jeans and 1 stretch straight leg pant. Hair is grey and long and curly so inspired by colors like shades of gray, white, denims, and jewel tones. Cute how you say expecially :) Love your creativity!

You make fashion so much fun I sorted out what doesn’t fit me got rid of the clothes bought new clothes I now have room to find my outfits and I can be creative and make several outfits in my closet. I forgot I had a poka dot too. Found my pinstripe pants, navel blue skirt yeah I found my hats clothes are not stacked up to the ceiling less is better because I can make so many styles I found my blazer my trench coats I bought a bin to put all my sweaters in. For 3 years I couldn’t find my skirts, found all my blazers, and my leather vest it goes great with my vegan leather pants. I had so much stuff I couldn’t find the important stuff and just couldn’t enjoy my clothes I now am excited to find things in my closet that I forgot I had because there was to much clothes to dig into and organized my dressers, put pants with pants. I put tee shirts and socks in a bin. Thankyou for teaching me to have fun dressing up.

I just edited my closet.. I'm stuck between wanting to minimize my clothing options due to space but also I've noticed I'm wearing specific items on repeat.. I'm also a caregiver so I don't often have occasion to " dress up".. I like simplicity due to my lifestyle but I also have that love of " play dress up".. sigh.. I recently did this huge purge and I'm regretting letting go of my tulle skirts thinking I'm too old.. (52) and my gold loafers.. I might have made a mistake there.. sigh... Anyway so happy to see you back!!

I’d just like to say that I really appreciate your channel so much. I’m in the process of what seems like a personal reinvention and I’m looking for inspiration. There are so many styling videos about capsule wardrobes and basically minimalism. I LOVE your playful maximalist styling. I love to thrift, I live in California as well, where it’s often too hot to wear some of the things I’d like to. Thank you for the inspiration you’ve given me while curating some wardrobe pieces. Now I just need to find the guts to boldly go out in my boring town dressed as I please.

I like the zigzag long skirt on you and zigzag top and jacket and your sweaters, dresses , skirts blouses skirts, tops, and denim. I didn’t know I could wear denim jeans and a denim top at the same time I’m back to wearing some jewlery and denim shirts. I also have a vintage black leather jacket it looks like a blazer it’s thick leather it keeps me warm in the winter when I layer my clothes.

The thought of going through the tank rack while thrifting may seem humdrum, but I have found some really great vests there, so it worth a try. I found plenty of corsets in the lingerie area but my chest size it will be rare to find something that fits. I am a suspender gal and I had some before but added to my collection while thrifting for belts in the men's section. I am so trying to lessen my denim jeans wear and I been wearing trousers/cargos/dockers and I realized that since I did only pay sometimes like a $1 for them that I should try to feel more comfortable reaching for them to wear just around the house (but it still a habit trying to master). I am bringing in a rack that I got from someone moving and they put it out and it pretty neat because it a square base with extended rods to adjust heights but each hanging bar from rod is extended forming a square to so it basically could be put in a corner (it looks like an old retail store item). I am going to use this to put together looks so when I get up for the day I just grab because all the work has previously been done. Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and all in the new year.

My closet is color coded. Tops first, then vests, then pants, then skirts, then jackets/blazers. Outer wear is in another closet, as is dresses in their closet.

As a 2x to 3x size person it can be hard to find variety in my size in thrift stores. Happily with the increase in plus size fashion I've seen an increase in plus size pieces in thrift stores. Unfortunately, it's really hard to find good vintage pieces 😞.

Great video. I'm with you on trousers over denim!! I don't wear jeans, but salivate over a good pair or slacks!!! I did my closet reset, declutter & organization on December 31st. Very happy with the results. I have a fairly minimal closet with mostly thrifted & vintage pieces.
