This video is a love letter to the original that inspired it, the undertale fandom and all the passionate people who shared their love of this game, and of course the game itself which changed so many lives

The fact that the animation ends on Sans's death gives me hope that this timeline will be reset. And the animation itself is incredibly beautiful and juicy. It's just a piece of art.

I remember people making animations on this song! Gives me ton of nostalgia, great to see people still making undertale content!

The animation, the fighting scenes, its all just so stunning! I miss the theories and the playthroughs when Undertale was at its peak, and THAT ending made me feel like i was nine again discovering the Undertale community, you are amazing!

That part where Tauriel and Sans sharing puns transition into him just breaking down outside the entrance of the ruins while Tauriel's ashes on the other side is a haunting image. It feels like what would happen after the Player kills Papyrus and everyone at Snowdin left. The skeleton grieved his brother's death and had no one to talk to in a time like that.

サンズもフリスクも😢 これを見るとアンダーテールのすべてが濃縮されていてすごく複雑な気持ちになりました 幸せな頃の記憶を保持しつつ興味本位でモンスターを攻撃するうちにキャラといういるはずのない人間がフリスクのlvに応じてジワジワとフリスクを乗っ取っていって😢 気づいた頃には自分を止められなくなっている 助けてほしくても助けを呼べずサンズは命がけで止めてくれていたのにその壁すらもいずれは超えてしまう😢 とてもつらい

白黒の部分はキャラの意志要素強めでカラーの部分はフリスクの意志要素強めでいい描かれ方してて好き…(個人の解釈) あとこの曲初めて聞いたし英語1ミリも分からんかったけどいい曲だと思った… あと、最後の色素薄めサンズが儚くて好きぃぃぃ

This gave me flashbacks to the Sans centric close to you animation from a couple years ago, but you just created an absolute spectacle! As an artist/animator myself, I can only imagine the amount of time and work this took. Crazy to see that even though we're closing in on a decade since Undertale's initial release, there's still so many dedicated people in this community keeping it alive!

The fact that ppl are still making animations for undertale just shows how much love ppl have for it and how legendary it is. I love this video, it's awesome. Ngl i cried a lil bit😂❤❤❤❤

What a beautiful animation as always! Your style is always a treat- the sketchy line work really lends the animation a certain uniqueness and charm. The story you’re telling with the animation and song (a wonderful cover and good choice) is as beautiful as it is heartbreaking. The fact that Undertale is still getting new fan content all these years later never ceases to amaze me. Keep it up!

This is such a great animation. You can feel the emotion behind some of the movements and the expressions are just godlike. Favorite part was definitely the end sequence with all of the memories.

I know I am 3 months late, but animations like these are what made me regret the genocide I committed in undertale, I felt terrible making them suffer with 28 genocide runs in a row. This is STUNNING! I’ve always loved the different layers of Close to You (Sans and Papyrus, Sans and Frisk, Frisk and the monsters) and you captured them PERFECTLY! So many individual moments were so beautiful and your animation gets lovelier with every video. I loved every moment of this I haven't seen an Undertale animation in a while and this was so good and sad at the same time amazing work.

God you think you're used to the Undertale fandom, and then another amazing artist drops an awesome AMV on you.

The animation is really neat and emotional at the same time. In this it really tells how Frisk doesn't want to do Genocide against their friends while Chara forces her too. It really shows how much Sans has to bear from losing his friends, losing his brother everything thanks to the players action. Your actions depend on what choice you make in Undertale. Whether be a pacifist like Pico from Pico School or a genocide killer like Hank from Madness Combat, each choice you make would impact the games characters. Once again, this is really a good Undertale animation Z ke. I can't wait to see more of your animations in the future.

I like that Toby Fox never truly confirmed the role of Chara even after all the fan theories and toxicity that followed from warring ideas. Either way though, This was THE game, that forced the player to actually live with the consequences of their own actions through Chara from a meta standpoint. In a way, who Frisk the character is doesn't matter as they are whomever the player makes them be.

Undertale will unfortunately never be the same like how it originally all those ways back, when youtubers were just getting around to it, when animations were a newly special thing for the game. It's sadly just a shadow of how it used to be, something a community grew into just to destroy. But these animations right here? These moments remind me of what made Undertale special, unique and something to be remembered.

awesome job man, you can see how unique it is compared to the original close to you which is why I think although the video itself is a bit lacking compared to the hand done animation of the og, the actual audio with instrumentals and acoustics are amazing, let alone the voice which hit all the notes perfectly for this fitting with the vibe the entire video gave off as well as the music and all in all its just a completely different look at it yet it fits so perfectly. Amazing work and keep it up!

The ketchup scene was so sad like imagine being mortally struck by someone who you hate with all of your heart only to realise that you were both great friends at one point in your last moments.

I love this song. I finally understand how to throw away the pain when a loved one says "they don't care" to anything I have to say or feel about. It's a very bittersweet song, with grace. Definitely my favorite.

This broke me so much. It genuinely took me a second when reading the title to realize it was yet another animatic to this song, and I remember being so attached to it years ago. This brought so much back to me - not just stuff about the game, but about myself. The emotion conveyed with both the cover choice and the animation is genuinely breathtaking.
