Guys, you're right to be apprehensive about salt but truly I've driven salt water for years in Jackaroo's, Toyota's & now a Patrol and you wouldn't know looking under the vehicles except the Toyota, sorry to say. The underside of the toy turned rusty as quick as, my son's HiLux rusts terribly, hmm. Jackaroo's showed zero effect after years of salt, the troll, well nothing shows except when you investigate and there is evidence but nothing to alarm me, nor a potential purchaser for that matter. But be apprehensive and avoid any issues, I'll keep dipping the troll when ever I go to Pebbly Beach myself. Mind you, I always walk it seeking the shallowest dipp, it's not a boat. 😂😂😂😂 Keelan, if you wish to enjoy K'gari you might have to re-evaluate your thinking. Benefit of K'gari is there are some mighty flowing fresh water crossings to flush underside components occasionally on route. I always thoroughly rinse chassis on rtn home, but that can be weeks or months, trip dependent. Keep me envious young fella, oh and do wear footwear chopping wood, won't stop a wild axe swipe but will offer protection against loosing a toe to a piece of wood projecting forth.
Another great video - thanks to you both for the great content, keep it up! Just a quick tip for rhe Weber - I seem to remember that the instructions recommend placing the half hotplate on the opposite side to the ignitor so that there is enough airflow to ignite the barbeque. Safe travels!

Heys guys great episode, I had a bit of a situation like yours with shark at a place called seal rocks nsw, top spot, stay at yagan Beach if you get the chance. Fyi my shark was only a grey nurse but still scary when you see 4m of shadow glide by...... twice. Also you mentioned in the budget video that you wanted free camp knowledge, if your near Newcastle lake macquarie region head up to the watagans national Park at a camp called the pines. There are also some camps on wiki that are farms that are also worth a look. Just make sure you go in through the martinsville and watagans Rd, the other entries are harder with a van and may still have closures from a bad storm that caused a landslide on one.

we buy a log of scotch from butchers then cut our own steaks! we normally get a log for around 65$, normally thats the economy scotch and then get around 10-12 steaks out of it! but if we cut them thicker probably could get 7-8 big ones!! cheap way to do it!
