When cloning (I have hexprog2). I cloned a sim2k-240 and vehicle starts find BUT the prndl is incorrect as is. Drive on dash, only lights when the shifter is in park. And park only displays and vehicle will start when shifter is in drive. The shifter is backwards. My question is is the sim2k-240 the only part number I need to worry about ? What other numbers will confirm matching between OG and new pcm. Also everything works normally with OG PCM installed

Thanks for the video. Will the car start if eeprom checksum is not corrected in writing? I am cloning one with kt200 but I have an eeprom chk correction problem. Can I only write without correction.

Correction is necessary if changes were made to the dumps.

Question..If I copy/flash from old Ecu eprom where are stroge vin number and put in new/replecmant /donor Ecu eprom it will car start?Or I must copy/clone ALL Ecu Data to new/donor Ecu that can start engine?Soory im new one and I learning

Can this be done with an Autel IM608 with Xp400pro? I have red both pin numbers and I was hoping I could reset the ECM so it could be coded. But it says it is locked. Can I swap Eeprom data? Or can it only be done by flashing the whole ECM on the bench?

On this ecm there's also vehicle data in the flash so the entire thing must be copied over, what model pcm are you working on?
