Clondalkin Fonthill Station - Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail Passenger, Per Way & Freight Trains

Welcome back to another Irish video on European Rail.
In this video we visit Clondalkin Fonthill station in Dublin. The station is located on the Dublin to Cork mainline. It is served by various south western commuter services operating between Portlaoise / Newbridge / Hazelhatch and Dublin Heuston / Grand Canal Dock. Intercity services from Heuston to Waterford, Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Galway and Westport pass through the station non stop. The IWT liner which runs from North Wall to Ballina also operates through the station. In this video we also see a special rail train operating from North Wall to Portlaoise Rail Depot. Regular passenger services in this video are operated by 22000 Class ICR DMUs and 201 locomotives hauling MKIV sets.
