Always impresses me how relatively easily that tool just munches up the roots. And for those curious why you'd use one over a water jetter, theirs probably a bunch of reasons I'm not aware of but one seems to be price because holy shit are they expensive compared to drain snakes.(not to say those are cheap either but damn)

In my opinion is , it is possible to cause water damage when flooding a bath with a jetter.However, there are situations where you have to flush a line with high pressure in a house, as I said rarely The customer can do that with the flooding , but not the one who was called. Don't get me wrong, He is cool and does his thing well and holds out until the job is done , not alot do that., We both just work a bit different having the same goals.

Hello watching from the 🇬🇧 England I like your channel and having worked myself in the Industry Can I ask why you do not clean out the pit of all the debris and loose material before you start as obviously as soon as you take off the caps off the pipe and water hits the pit all the loose material will be washed down into the pipe ! . You will probably say I only get paid for clearing the pipe , and I am not getting paid for cleaning up customers rubbish, but at the end of the day I am sure the customers would always call back a clean and tidy workman . Keep up the videos seen many " Rattys doing your work 😂 LOL

Your supposed to put the blade cutter in the drain first and then start the machine! Think safety! These machines can be dangerous especially if the cable binds up and kinks on you! I’ve had them snap right off before.

Old pipes tent to scale up and catch a lot of things in the pipes which builds up into a clog with every flush and the u trap is used to prevent gases and bugs ect. from coming back into the house.

Hah! RootX application at the end?! Two weeks back our plumber had to clear a root blockage from our NJ sewer line. He recommended RootX to keep the roots from coming back. We have him scheduled to apply the chemical in mid February. I guess that stuff really works?

Cleaning waste is always seen as an extra service. The term "you get what you pay for" applies here. lol And its perfectly reasonable for people not wanting to clean waste, especially if you're not entirely sure about what your doing. Theirs plenty of disease in there to worry about.

Cleaning waste is always seen as an extra service. The term "you get what you pay for" applies here. lol And its perfectly reasonable for people not wanting to clean waste, especially if you're not entirely sure about what your doing. Theirs plenty of disease in there to worry about.

Dig it up and replace, put in a liner or dump some RootX down the line every year (that's what he poured in at the end of the video).
