I have to admit I busted out laughing really loud when you were describing the different colors of poop. It looks like there is a grinder pump in that pit that is not in operation that should grind up the rags and such to prevent the blockage. Good work as always. Good content. It was a catch basin for storm water, and was just using it so the building wouldn't flood.

Wearing "ugly" or cow leather gloves it doesn't grab your hands but you can grip enough to handle cable
