CLOCKWORK SAILING COMPLETES THE 2023 ROLEX SYDNEY TO HOBART
From Sydney to Hobart this is our story.
The only South Australian boat to enter the 2023 edition of the Rolex Sydney to Hobart, Clockwork has officially completed the race.
With wild seas, testing times, light wind, no wind, howling with and stunning sunsets, Clockwork co-owners Andrew Lloyd and Mary Ann Harvey would like to thank the crew for all their efforts on board, helping them to complete this momentous journey.
A huge thanks from the entire crew to a whole lot more on-land friends, family and friendly supporters for cheering us on and for all those that helped to prep the boat and to those that have helped along the journey.

We were so lucky to have the Rolex helicopter buzzing us for 15 minutes. Was a very welcome distraction !!!
Great footage with drone? Good editing & length of video. Well done. More footage around Tasman Is. would have been great as well. Congrats to all & camera person. ❤

Did something go wrong with the main? On Facebook some thought there should be a smaller jib with such a small trysail. Looks like the combination you had up worked fine.
I've never tried Sydney to hobart,...... in fact, I've never sailed in blue water...... but that looked like fun.

Damaged main? Coming up the Derwent I thought the storm sail could have come off.

This came up in my feed. Terrific to see the race from a crew perspective. I hope other crews have done the same thing. The emotion you guys felt at the end is palpable. Great effort in completing the event. Curious to know what happened with the Mainsail?

Yes we were all incredibly emotional at the finish. The welcome along the wharf from strangers was astounding. And then to see our people ❤❤❤ About the main … we had a bit on getting it down to get the trisail up. Lost the halyard unfortunately, so snugged it to the top. Hadn’t had a chance to retrieve it, and were still doing good speed
