Facial hair on a recruit? Yep, I am sure the DI saw that and after the haircut that recruit was told to have it removed immediately. I will not be surprised if he got smoked for that infraction. When I did my training a few decades ago one recruit hair was touching his shoulder blades and he had a full beard. He was smoked before we got to the barber, who was instructed to cut his beard off. He was on the radar of the DI,s for a few weeks before they backed off.
